While five gene sets (including DNA helicase) were nominally significant (4.8 × 10 −3 ≤ P ≤2.1 × 10 −2 , Supplementary Table 5 ) these gene sets were not significant after multiple comparison correction (false discovery rate >0.10).
Excerpts
After additionally removing the meQTLs that were correlated with any of the five GWAS index SNPs at SLC2A9 among EA persons (Methods), cg13841979 was the only CpG with ≥4 meQTLs for MR analysis and showed nominally significant causal effects on serum urate levels ( p = 2.25E–2, Supplementary Data 10 ).
While the maximal neoantigen quality is higher in those DRs without a clonal neoantigen (568.6 ± 718.1) than those with a clonal neoantigen (464.7 ± 609.2), the difference is not large in magnitude and only weakly significant ( t = 2.267, p -value = 0.024) (Supplementary Fig. 3b , right).
In non-BVZ treated patients ( n = 224), HRs were not significant for cluster 3 (HR = 0.72, P = 0.18, CI 0.45–1.16 for PFS and HR = 0.84, CI 0.49–1.44 for OS, Cox regression), while for cluster 2 patients, a borderline significant effect was observed for PFS (HR = 0.57, P = 2.4 × 10 −2 , CI 0.35–0.93, Cox regression), which was not confirmed at the OS level (Supplementary Figure 8 ).
showed a trendp = 0.025
The analysis of a downstream target of the p38 kinase, FLNA, also showed a trend to decrease with expression of WT (10%) and a 12% reduction with mutant DLGAP4 ( p = 0.025).
While the fraction of CP glia exhibit a positive trend, only OPC numbers show a significant positive correlation with gestational age ( p = 0.026).
We note that MAPT is only nominally significant in the PWAS of clinical AD ( p = 0.027, FDR = 0.52), perhaps due to power limitation, and future larger GWAS may help resolve this.
In PSP, we observed a nominally significant enrichment in oligodendrocyte enhancer sequences ( P = 0.027) (Fig. 1b ).
approached significancep = 0.028
LDL PRS approached significance in high LDL carriers ( β = 6.76, p = 0.028, Fig.
Despite the fact that Val-2 had a shorter follow-up period, and therefore a smaller proportion of patients experienced relapse, K-high was still highly significant (HR: 4.47; Cox P = 0.029; Supplementary Figure 8A ).
However, patients displayed increased dwell time in state B 4 ( t 537 = −2.8, p ≤ 0.005) and nominally significant increases in state D 4 ( t 537 = −2.13, p ≤ 0.03).
Among the subjects with low coffee consumption, only one association remained nominally significant (cg14476101, P = 0.03).
15d ), as observed in a recent study in brain tissue 79 , which was slightly significant ( P = 0.03, ANOVA).
When adjusting for clinical risk factors, 6 proteins were significantly associated with either MACE or HHF (FDR-adjusted p -value < 0.05), while for the time to DECLARE’s composite renal outcome, IGFBP6 was nominally significant ( p -value = 0.03; Fig. 4C–E ).
Look-ups in consortium data showed a nominally significant association for the leptin-decreasing allele of rs10487505 with higher BMI in the GIANT Consortium ( P =0.03, N =221,677), as well as with increased risk of early-onset obesity ( P =0.04, N =13,848) and higher birth weight ( P =0.02, N =26,836) in the EGG Consortium ( Supplementary Table 7 ).
However, neurons that encoded absolute time were more prevalent in M2, and showed a similar trend in PPC, although this did not reach statistical significance (M2: p = 0.03, PPC: p = 0.06, permutation test; Fig. 2e ).
In an exploratory analysis, we did find small but significant effects in the subpopulation of neurons that received 5 Hz AM, but these were very small (median effect: ~0.2 Hz) and on the cusp of significance ( p = 0.03; Wilcoxon Sign-Rank Test).
Conversely, no differences were found for FH and FHR-3 ( p > 0.05), while FHR-1 showed a nominally significant ( p = 0.03) increase in the recall setting.
A highly significant ( p < 0.03) difference in PFS was found between patients with RAB5A Allred scores 7 and 8, where 7/8 patients had a PFS of 50 weeks or more, and Allred scores 0-6, where all patients had PFS less than 50 weeks (Fig. 6A ).
Instead, we find a weakly significant difference for L int for the cytological data (Fig. 4 D, p = 0.03), whereas converting cytological data from SC space to DNA space using chromosome lengths reported in ref. 55 results in significantly smaller L int for females (Fig. 4 C, p = 10 −6 ).
The association with previous VTE for one SD increase in CFHR5 level in VEBIOS Coagulation was still nominally significant when adjusting for C3 levels (OR 1.36 [CI 1.03-1.82], p = 0.032), although weaker compared to adjusting only for age and sex (OR 1.55 [CI 1.2-2.01], p = 8.85E-04, Table 3 and Supplementary data 1 [Tab_8] ).
We observed nominally significant overlap (hypergeometric p = 0.033, Odds ratio = 1.4) between age effects on mRNA and age effects on DNAm levels at these genes.
Time post-infection showed borderline significant association with %T1-shortening in the thalamus and putamen (LMM, p = 0.034 and 0.033, respectively) (Fig. 2d ).
By stratifying patients according to the ICR/GIE classification of week 12 biopsies we found a slightly significant difference ( p value = 0.035, log-rank test) in OS and in PFS ( p value = 0.022, log-rank test) between the High-ICR/GIE and the High-ICR/Non-GIE group (Fig. 6c and Supplementary Fig 9b ).
We observed a slight decrease in both aerial and root dry weight in 1RW relative to 1RS (average 7.2% and 8.0%, respectively), which was marginally significant in one of the experiments ( P = 0.035 and P = 0.036, respectively) but not in the combined analyses (Table 1 ).
