In addition to ADCVI activity, we found a significant correlation with anti-Env CD4+ T-cell response after the second cycP-gp120 immunization, as well as a positive trend in anti-V2 antibodies with delayed SHIV acquisition, supporting recent studies highlighting the importance of V2-specific antibodies in the human efficacy trials 34 , 38 , 54 as well as both V2-specific antibodies and T-cell responses in non-human primate studies evaluating poxvirus/gp120 vaccination 55 , 56 .

Again, most gene categories regulated by age were showing the same direction in transcriptome and proteome so that the positive Pearson's correlation of the annotation enrichment scores was highly significant (Fig. 2e ).

In the mixed effects model, this result was marginally significant in PRc and nonsignificant in PHc and should be interpreted with caution.

Compared to WT mice, Lmo7 exon17 KO mice showed a highly significant reduction in gentamicin immunoreactivity, in both inner and outer hair cells (Fig. 7c, d ).

The effect of chloride ions on the fructose conversion reaction rate relative to H 2 SO 4 has an increasing trend with increasing concentrations of GVL in the solvent system.

The levels of another adipogenic transcription factor PPAR gamma was also evaluated, which was consistently higher but did not quite reach statistical significance in ING3 and EPDR1 targeted cells (Fig. 3d ).

The 672 candidates were ranked against these targets and a clear trend of the number of hits was observed across the 16 prodrugs; relatively few hits were observed for compounds 1 – 3 and 9 – 16 , with over half of the potential candidates producing hits for compounds 4 – 8 bearing masking groups at both 5’-hydroxyl and amino groups (Fig. 3a ).

While the levels of the mtDNA-encoded subunit, Cox2, was significantly decreased in psd1 Δ psd2 Δ and OM-Psd1 strains, the steady state abundance of the two additional mtDNA-encoded subunits, Cox1 and Cox3, trended towards a decrease in psd1 Δ, psd1 Δ psd2 Δ and OM-Psd1 that did not quite reach statistical significance (Supplementary Fig. 4 ).

The triangular organisation of this morphospace may be significant in relation to the theory of Pareto optimality.

A clear trend of Young’s modulus as a function of CisPt concentration has been observed and reported in Fig. 6d .

Discussion The results presented here indicate that analyses of the number of people exposed to flooding undertaken with existing population data sets may be significant overestimates.

Excluding the previously published datasets, 56 of the 118 available variants were at least nominally significant in a meta-analysis of HUNT and MGI alone (Supplementary Data 6 ).

Principal component analysis of relative metabolite abundance per cell revealed a strong trend across the 54 cell lines (PC1, 58.9% explained variance, Supplementary Fig. 2 ), which strongly correlates with cell line volumes derived from cell diameters measured in ref. 66 as well as with the herein determined adherent cell size area (Supplementary Fig. 2 , see Supplementary Note).

Notably, in several populations the decreasing plasmid frequency was reversed to an increasing trend with the plasmid hosts taking over the population (e.g., pINDM4).

Hierarchical cluster analysis of the growth inhibition rate showed that cancer cells in the same genotype tended to present similar metabolic vulnerabilities, especially for FGFR- and EGFR-aberrant cells that showed a trend of clustering (Supplementary Fig. 1a , Dataset 1).

We also found modestly significant high-frequency-biases in the inputs from L3 and L5, but not L2 and L4 (See Supplementary Fig. 2 ).

B-cell depletion using an anti-CD20 antibody in a small cohort showed a trend in reducing inflammation, although nonsignificant 42 .

We observed that those genes are highly significant, regardless of the data set used (Supplementary Fig. 8b ), and that 100% of them have the exact same expression trend, i.e., meaning that genes found upregulated in the microarray data set were also found upregulated in the RNA-seq data set, and vice versa (Supplementary Fig. 8c ).
