We performed separate principal coordinates analysis (PCoA) based on Bray-Curtis dissimilarity and the Permutational multivariate analysis of variance (PERMANOVA) analysis, which revealed highly significant differences in both virulent ( R 2 = 0.42) and temperate ( R 2 = 0.63) phage communities between the gibbon family groups (Fig. 3a ).

After the sacrifice, we also observed a positive trend in the spleen weight in CCl4-treated animals, compared to control mice, immediately after CCl4 treatment cessation, at week 14, but they did not reach statistical significance (Supplementary Fig. 3B ).
Except for foothills, the indices of human activity show a decreasing trend from the Early Modern (460 yr cal BP; 1490 CE); probably related to progressive agricultural abandonment of mountain environments 59 leading to a gradual return of forest cover 17 , 60 , which may also have been favored by climate change 61 .
The hydrological model 45 used to estimate LWS, exhibits a decreasing trend in land mass during the latest La Niña phase since 2020, mainly due to underestimating minimum mass in the northern hemisphere summers (Supplementary Fig. 5 ).
Interestingly, proteins that were decreased in the late disease rNLS8 cortex also showed a trend towards a decrease or down-regulation in the human datasets (Fig. 7b ).
Frozen shoulder patient tissues showed a trend towards increased proportions of lymphoid cells and PECAM + vascular endothelial cells and a smaller increase in myeloid cells relative to comparator tissues.

The results show a clear trend where the peak velocity monotonically decreases with increasing size, particularly at smaller scales, as shown in Fig. 3d , with detailed structural parameters shown in Supplementary Table 2 and the flow mapping of each sample size propelled at its peak velocity shown in Supplementary Fig. 15 .
In contrast, supervised analysis of biopsy CyTOF data demonstrated a borderline significant increase in HLA-DR + IECs in UC and UC-VDZ samples compared to HC, and a trend toward reduced CD15 hi IECs in UC, with expansion in VDZ-treated patients (Fig. 4d–f ).
While not statistically significant, both subsets showed a trend toward increase in UC and reduction with VDZ (Fig. 5i, j ), similar to the pattern observed with CITE-seq.
Of these, the TTR , GCKR , FOXP2 , and PPP1R3B lead SNPs, denoted as such based on their closest TSS, were at least nominally significant at one or more of the measured timepoints.
Additionally, the pump fluence dependence of propagation efficiency for a coupling angle of 0° displays an increasing trend from 20.88% to 39.00% as the pump fluence increases (Supplementary Fig.
2A ), along with a highly significant increase in IFNg secretion and up-regulation of IFNg pathway genes (Fig. 2 A, E ) alleviates the need for a functional circulatory system for demonstrating response.
On treatment SC1 samples exhibited an increasing trend in M1/M2 GES that correlated with a near significant increase in GMCSF:MCSF ratio compared to SC2d (Fig. 5A ).
Using a mIHC approach, Treg numbers were found to have a decreasing trend on combination treatment (Fig. 8C , left).
Upon stimulating C57BL/6 small intestinal organoids with rIL-18, we observed significantly downregulated expression of Lipe and Pnpla2 while Ppara showed a trend in the same direction (Fig. 6D ).

5 a, both YPEDILDKHLQRVIL- and YPEDILDKHLQRV-based extensions show a clear trend of increasing rank differences during fine-tuning, demonstrating that our fine-tuning strategy can enrich “good” peptide binders and is thus more likely to generate peptides with higher affinity for β -catenin.
After surgical removal of the tumours, the body weight of the nude mice in each group had an increasing trend but no significant difference, suggesting no serious side effects in this therapy strategy (Fig. 5c ).
6c (iv), compared to the moving forward mode, the change in distance between the tracked folds during the climbing and descending stages first decreased and then showed an increasing trend.
According to the results, when φ increases to 25%, 40%, 55%, the Young’s modulus of SWNT layer showed a decreasing trend from 33.8 to 5.5 MPa.

Since forcing due to SO 2 emissions peaked in 1966 and has been declining since, this implies that a simple time series analysis of mean precipitation in this region for the last half of the 20th century (e.g., from 1950 onward) might show a negative trend.
The fast response has a highly significant drying effect for CONUS-average mean precipitation in the winter; in summer and autumn, the fast response instead results in (primarily) enhancements to mean and extreme precipitation, as found in prior multi-model experiments concerning the response of precipitation to sulfates (see below for further detail).
A recent nation-wide assessment in Switzerland found an increasing trend in the projected cold-related mortality under warmer climates due to an increase in the size of the population at risk when demographic changes were accounted for 1 .

A clear trend was observed where increased steric bulk at the 5-position of the oxazoline ring enhanced stereospecificity ( L13 ).
2 were able to replicate our analysis, and confirmed the robustness of a decreasing trend in soil microbial carbon using bootstrapping.
As age increases, we observed a decreasing trend in the levels of circulating progesterone steroids sulfate metabolites in both men and women.
