In the non-European cohorts, 139 associations (across 57 loci) reached nominal significance in UKBEAS, and 126 associations (across 37 loci) were nominally significant in UKBAFR.

We found a decreasing trend in CHAT interneurons in the human striatum compared to other species in our dataset (Fig. 5B ).

While neuronal proportions were similar between human-chimpanzee, macaque and marmoset neuronal proportions were greater than human with either statistical significance or a strong trend (Supplementary Data 2 and Fig. 2A ).

Striatal medium spiny neurons (MSNs) showed a nonsignificant trend toward increased sEPSC frequency that was reduced by acute rapamycin (Supplementary Fig. 4c, d ).

More importantly, there is an obvious trend between salt concentration and Zn 2+ /Zn potential in the tested range, which reinforces the pivotal role of concentration in governing the redox potential.

Notably, spontaneous verbal fluency showed a progressively weaker correlation from precentral (highly significant) to orbitalis (not significant).

With the cathodic potential downshift, the FE CH4 shows an increasing trend.

Additionally, serum levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), a marker of lipid peroxidation, increased after infection and showed a trend toward reduction following PPARγ knockout, although this change was not statistically significant (Supplementary Fig. 7h ).

However, we identified a highly significant interaction between Tent5a and ER-anchored Fndc3b that was confirmed biochemically by coimmunoprecipitations and agrees with a recent report identifying FNDC3 proteins as TENT5 family interaction partners (Fig. 7b ) 57 .

Indeed, for many specific genes whose association with epigenetic aging was highly significant, the corresponding p -value for correlation with chronological aging was found to be insignificant (Table 1 ).

None of the areas exhibited a decreasing trend.

Most regions in China did not display a significant trend, except for the Pearl River Delta and Zhengzhou, which showed decreasing values, and Xi’an, which showed a significant increase.

8 shows the deseasonalised trend of temperatures at the 45 sites; an increasing trend was observed at most of the analysed sites.

For H24A and Hum21, the fluctuating changes in F 640 led to a decreasing trend in F 640 /F 527 (inset of Fig. 3f ).

The wavelength drift for all samples showed an increasing trend with the number of cycles, particularly pronounced within the first 20,000 cycles as shown in Fig. 3a .

The accumulated tokens count had a significant impact on the fraction of errors of both subjects, showing a decreasing trend in the fraction of errors in choosing the offer with the best EV as the ATC increased (Fig. 3A , Supplementary Table 5 ).

These effects coincided with a negative trend in errors when more tokens were accumulated, and with a lower propensity for risk-taking whenever the cumulative jackpot approached.

Despite a decreasing trend in mortality, the disparities persist between Black and white people (HR 1.15, 95% CI 1.09–1.22) and between AIAN and white people (1.25, 1.10-1.43).

All effects were highly significant after the removal of any given acquisition site.

Bioinformatic analysis of the upregulated genes in tumouricidal macrophages showed highly significant overlaps with genes or proteins known to be induced in macrophages by IFN-γ ( Supplementary Data S3 ).

It is important to note that the number of data points is significantly reduced in this design, leading to marginally statistically significant estimates in some cases.

Nevertheless, the public health importance of low-density infections may be significant, as experiments have shown that mosquitoes feeding on individuals who are parasite-negative by microscopy can become infected with malaria 7 , 8 .

Parasite densities assessed by microscopy show a clear trend of increasing with increasing transmission intensity ( Fig. 2b ).

By contrast to the relatively small changes in North Atlantic and intermediate ocean, deep water δ 13 C values in the Southern Ocean/South Atlantic (Site 1090/704) show a significant trend towards lower values since the mPWP 10 , 16 .

Currently, contributions to the compensation of the deficiency of anionic glycolipids are likely to be significant in the order of PG>PI>PE, although it remains unknown whether this order is because of the difference in chemical properties or the difference in the organelle where they are mainly synthesized, that is, chloroplastic PG is synthesized in chloroplasts 47 , such as SQDG and presumably GlcADG, whereas PI and PE are mainly synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum ( Fig. 6 ).
