This process, induced in vitro by incubating mature gametocytes at room temperature 34 , revealed a highly significant nearly four-fold decrease in exflagellation centers in Y268S mutants as compared to isogenic controls, likely reflecting an increased demand for mitochondrial respiration 35 .
Excerpts
After ~6 ka BP, δD fi shows an increasing trend, with an average value of ~9.46 ‰ (Fig. 2a ).
Q5 δ 13 C values range from -6.4‰ to 1.1‰, with relatively stable values (~ −1‰) from ~10.8 to 6 ka BP and a decreasing trend from~−1‰ to ~−5‰ since ~6 ka BP (Fig. 2 ), suggesting slightly lower P-E (or effective wetness) in the early and middle Holocene compared to the late Holocene.
a clear trendgold
Ultimately, a clear trend has yet to be established for the effects of oxidation states on the splitting of the ground and excited states, as well as variations in metal-ligand covalency 19 , 20 .
a strong trendgold
Plotting the mutational effects profiles across partners also reveals a strong trend affecting all partners, showing that most mutations have general effects on JUN’s ability to form dimers with all its partners (Fig. 2b , Supplementary Fig. 7 ).
a clear trendgold
Although non-significant (p-adj < 0.06), there was a clear trend of CD8-EM and myeloid-DRhi cells being increased after CTLA4 blockade (Fig. 3f, g ).
a clear trendgold
A clear trend emerged: stronger CPAs (lower p Ka values) improved transformation efficiency (see Supplementary Fig.
a clear trendgold
Meanwhile the beta-sheet content changes are less pronounced and do not show a clear trend (Supplementary Fig. 3b ).
a clear trendgold
Our analysis reveals a clear trend: the performance across all assessment metrics declines as the number of rotatable bonds increases.
an overall trendgold
We also included climate variables to control for potential confounding effects (i.e., the first three axes of a factor analysis with climate variables, see Supplementary Table S11 ), and predictors referring to trends: we included ΔGPP, ΔRe or ΔNEP (matching the response variable), the mean annual sums of the C flux (GPP, Re or NEP, again matching the response variable), trends in weather variables (ΔTemperature, ΔPrecipitation, ΔWind speed and ΔVPD), an overall trend of weather temporal complexity (an average of ΔTemperature CD , ΔPrecipitation CD , ΔWind speed CD and ΔVPD CD ), Shannon’s diversity, stand biomass, green biomass (EVI), total N deposition, and the site-specific trend in flux data quality.
a positive trendgold
We report a positive trend in GPP complexity over time, which correlates with increasing GPP.
Specifically, an increasing trend in ∂ T /∂ t indicates a less intense temperature drop.
However, despite an apparent trend, our upregulated X-linked genes did not contain a significantly higher proportion of genes which code for proteins in complexes when compared to non-upregulated X-linked genes (Supplementary Fig. 2k ).
Our findings showing that heterozygous human CCER1 variants are pathogenic in patients with clinical azoospermia were supported by highly significant differences in our large-cohort study.
5e ) and was borderline significant at the 4 h time point, highlighting the sensitivity of QuaNPA (Fig. 6b ).
Of the 600 million tons of raw milk produced on a global scale, 100 million tons (approximately 13%) were wasted in 2009 2 , and the amount showed an increasing trend.
In general, shrub resilience displays a decreasing trend with rising MAT across all substrates, but the magnitude of decline varies markedly.
a clear trendgold
This is consistent with the lack of a clear trend in hurricane activity over the instrumental era despite a very strong external forcing from long-lived greenhouse gases.
In the cebp1 mutant, we found that the Eb-P percentages were significantly higher compared to WT, while the EoP also exhibited an increasing trend (Fig. 3E ), indicating that cebp1 acts as a negative regulator in eosinophil fate commitment.
The OCT results showed a trend of reduced thickness of the outer retina in the knockout mice ( Supplementary Fig. 8a ), whereas the result of HE staining also indicates a slightly thinner retinal layer in the 2.5-month-old KO mice ( Supplementary Fig. 8b ).
This finding may be significant biologically, as it points to the possibility that the size and number of biomolecular condensates may be controlled rapidly by regulators that interact with a fraction of phase-separating monomers, whose total mass may be conserved.
Studies of single fjords and marine terminating systems suggest that they could be highly significant for N and P “pumping”, and moderately significant for Si 10 .
As expected, partially simulated datasets showed a lesser extent of P -value inflation, suggesting that highly significant known cancer genes are responsible for inflation due to their involvement in many pathways.
a negative trendgold
In particular, there is a significant positive trend in JJA-averaged Blob 2.0 SSTAs and surface heat flux, as well as a negative trend in mixed layer depths averaged in this region (Figs. 1b and 3 ).
This idea is supported by evidence of an increasing trend in the level of insoluble MATR3 S85C in the cerebellum (Supplementary Fig. 16 ), which is similar to previous findings 29 , 32 , 52 .
