While the GRS association was highly significant including the three loci with nominal significance in the meta-analysis, the effect estimates removing the three loci remained at 67% of the original effect in HUNT and 86% of the original effect in Health 2000, suggesting that additional individual sleepiness loci contribute to the combined effect of the GRS.

For HRAS, no new hotspots were unequivocally identified, although two residues (R164 and P167) were borderline significant (Fig. 2c ).

This is attributed to the low dissolution of AgNPs 23 and an increasing trend of radical signal intensity at higher pHs (as discussed later).

Recently, a clear trend is emerging, shifting the emphasis from inorganic counterparts to organic luminescent materials with ultralong phosphorescence 5 , 7 , 8 , due to their superiorities, such as electroconductivity, diverse molecular architechtures, good biocompatibilities, and low cost, although there still exists a great challenge of suppressing non-radiative transition and enhancing intersystem crossing for organic phosphorescence under ambient conditions.

The stream population NID shows the strongest signal for the D-statistic, the other stream populations (S1, S2) also show D-statistics significantly different from zero and two lake populations have marginally significant D-statistics (L1, L2, but not ROM, Supplementary Fig. 2 ), indicating varying extents of admixture with a West European lineage.

Thus, the variants involved in this pathway–pathway interaction could not be identified using traditional univariate analysis or interaction tests that focus on individual SNP pairs, but were highly significant when assessed collectively by BridGE.
