While our analysis of axon projections did not include the VMH, we observed a small trend in the predicted direction when we compared BLA innervation between SERT-Cre and ePET-Cre mice, but this did not reach statistical significance.
Excerpts
** P < 0.01 and *** P < 0.001 were highly significant compared with corresponding control.
We also observed the expected large effect of a de novo 16p11.2 deletion on body-mass index (BMI) 10 and showed a trend between proband BMI and the biparental mean 9 .
was highly significant ( P -value meta = 1.1 × 10 −06 , METAL, n = 2256, Supplementary Table 8 ).
Discussion Four out of six measures of complexity (range, polarization) and organization (smoothness, clustering) show an increasing trend in synapsids (Fig. 3 ), supporting previous qualitative and quantitative studies 30 – 33 .
Furthermore, taking the pool sizes of different carbon sources into account, the model was able to predict a decreasing trend in power output with increasing durations, that was consistent with the trend for world-record running speeds.
There was a nonsignificant trend for faster reactions of CB (296 ± 36 ms) compared with SC (315 ± 24 ms) in response to right index finger stimulation.
Copy number losses on chromosomes 9 and 11 occurred only in KPTC mice (Fisher’s exact test, two-sided p value: 0.06)—a borderline significant result, likely due to our small sample size.
The total C 2 product and ethylene FEs on both Ag-doped Cu and Cu GDEs exhibited an increasing trend with increased applied potentials.

There the maximum cell growth was observed for SC100 and SC50, while within the SCx series a clear trend is evident that growth decreases with increasing CNT content and thus increasing adhesion strength.
Analyzes at seasonal time scales revealed that Niño 3.4 anomalies had significant negative associations with total rainfall in December, January, February (DJF) (0 month lag, lag months 1–4 were marginally non-significant) and average DJF Chobe River height (0–8 months lags), and a significant positive association with average DJF minimum temperatures (0–9 months lags) (Fig. 2 ).

However, when assessing neuronal activation in the granule cell layer of the DG during memory retrieval we found that 4D-treated mice displayed a clear trend of decreased density of c-Fos+ cells relative to controls (4D vs.
MAIT cell production of cytokines in response to bacterial stimulation were rather stable during the first three time points evaluated, and showed a trend towards decline at the final time point corresponding to early chronic HIV-1 infection (Fig. 6b ).
Further, 85 out of the 88 variants ( P < 1 × 10 −16 ) had effect size in the same direction in the two cohorts and 44 were at least nominally significant in Iceland showing good replication of effects (Supplementary Data 1 ).
Despite marginally significant interactions between ESJ and video type on levator activation and self-reported affect in Study 3, these trends were not replicated in Studies 4 or 5.
coli , active intrinsic termination sites confirmed by Rend-seq data 39 were (in ~20% of cases) accompanied by highly significant levels (>12 standard deviations above the mean; see the “Methods” section) of a nearby (within 500 bp) RNA 5′ end mapping to the opposite strand, indicative of antisense initiation (Fig. 5b–d ).
The Alzheimer’s disease PRS as originally reported lacked the highly significant APOE locus; accordingly this locus was manually added to the PRS using the tag SNP rs10414043, and an estimated β = 1.34 (ref. 62 ). rs10414043 was used in preference to the more conventional rs429358 as the latter was not robustly genotyped on all platforms.

The population fractions of the other states fluctuate over time but do not show a clear trend.
5a ) and a highly significant correlation with EF improvement proofing a strong PK/PD relationship (Fig. 5b ; Supplementary Fig. 5a, c ).
Consistent with higher expression values previously associated with essential genes 15 , we show a decreasing trend in human gene expression levels from most to least essential FUSIL bins, as measured by median GTEx expression across a wide range of tissues and cell lines (Fig. 2b ).
With this stringent filter based on minimum absolute number of sampled species and consistently high global taxonomic coverage, the correlations between genetic and species diversity increase and the significance of the main parameters remains nearly significant (Supplementary Table 7 ).
Because 30% sequence identity results in widely different e -values (from nonsignificant to highly significant), for CAZy family assignments, we examined sequence conservation (percentage identity over CAZy domain length).
Interestingly, a highly significant increase was observed in the frequency of spontaneous release events (mEJPs; Fig. 2k ), perhaps consistent with elevation in AZ markers.
Fine-mapping methods refine marginally significant loci and discard associated but noncausal SNPs by accounting for LD, often within a Bayesian perspective 14 – 17 .
The enrichment among five relevant terms is highly significant (Supplementary Table 12 ) and strengthens at higher resolutions, suggesting increasingly precise localization of causal variants.
