Despite this, data show a clear trend with increasing amounts of O-containing groups in the carbon anodes exposed to light indicating that the carbon material is slightly oxidized ( Table 2 ); this is more remarkable in the amount of CO 2 desorbed, associated with the decomposition of carboxylic-like groups.
CAT Activity A decreasing trend with increasing processing days was observed for CAT activity in the salami during processing ( Figure 4 ), and the CAT activities of the treatment groups were significantly higher ( p < 0.05) than that of the control group.
The high F -value (49.54) and a very low p -value (<0.001) suggested that the model was highly significant, and the p -value (0.12) of “lack-of-fit” indicated that it was not significantly relevant to the pure error.
Despite a favorable trend, the Kaplan–Meier analysis indicated no significant differences in survival between the treated group vs. the shock group. 2.2.
Yields varied 2%–62% and showed a trend compatible with the expected basicity, and the characters of the bulky quinoxaline and the more-basic carbamide groups influenced compounds 5d (6% yield) and 5e (2% yield).
Table 2 lists the values for this parameter and revealed an increasing trend higher M 2+ /M 3+ ratio increased the ionic radius of each M 2+ (the ionic radius of Mg 2+ and Zn 2+ is 0.74 Ǻ and 0.66 Ǻ, respectively).
Results from this trial reported that GAL showed a trend of efficacy only in patients affected by the aphasic variety of FTD according to the clinical global impressions scale [ 154 ].
Essential oils of many plants have shown that in addition to their antibacterial properties, they also possess the ability to interfere with antibiotic activity and exhibit a strong trend in the potentiation of antibiotics [ 36 , 38 ].
The second-order polynomial equation obtained was as follows: The analysis of variance (ANOVA), represented in Table 2 , indicates that this second-order polynomial model was highly significant and adequate to represent the actual relationship between the response (molar conversion) and the significant variables with a very small p value (<0.001) and a satisfactory coefficient of determination ( R 2 = 0.9852).
The difference between POD-NLC formulation 1 and POD-NLC formulation 2 is highly significant ( p ˂ 0.01), and the skin deposit value for POD-NLC formulation 1 is nearly twice that for POD-NLC formulation 2 .
A concentration of 40 μg/mL of PCA showed extremely significant effects on the control of tobacco bacterial wilt of over 30.62% and 28.21% compared to streptomycin at nine and 19 days, respectively. 3.
Statistical analyses showed that the effect of all VOCs was highly significant on the growth rate of F. culmorum and that four VOCs (MA, MP, p -cymene and longifolene) had a highly significant effect on C. sativus ( Figure 1 ).
An unpaired parametric t test (Welch test) was performed to identify significant features with a p value threshold of 0.05 and a fold change threshold (highly significant features) of 1.5 [ 94 ].
In assessment of extraction frequency, the total peak area presented an increasing trend, but the efficiency of three extractions was almost the same as that for two ( Figure S2f ).
Concerning pastas, all AOB profiles highlighted the expected worsening of serum antioxidant status after R pasta intake similar to glucose; a decreasing trend was also observed after consumption of R pasta together with Lisosan G [ 34 ].
Therefore, the modulation of their secretome is highly significant in view of attempts to control the disease. 1 was effective in modulating cytokine expression in hMSCs with a decrease of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and the basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF-2), and in reducing the proliferation, migration, and clonogenicity of human bladder (HTB-9) and 4T1 cancer cells [ 114 ].
A highly significant difference was found between the samples; the sample treated with a pre-treatment of slicing/freezing before drying was the most affected sample, followed by the sample crushed before drying, as explained above in Section 2.5 and Section 2.6 .
