The lignin content of the treated lignocellulosic substrates showed a decreasing trend during the 60 days of incubation ( Figure 4 ).

Statistical significance was defined with p < 0.05 (*, significant) and p < 0.01 (**; highly significant).

These highly significant records may be explained by the production of enzymes or cell surface compounds as it was stated by Wang et al.

In comparison with the results of the red/blue shift of the absorption and emission spectra, we can see that the red-shift of absorption and emission spectra is likely to be significant when introducing the electron-donating groups into the bottom (more negative carbon) positions, and/or when introducing the electron-withdrawing groups into the peak positions of the CDW-like structure.

The red blood cell distribution width (RDW) index (RDW-CV and RDW-SD) showed a trend similar to MCV and increased significantly from day 35 onward ( Table 1 ).

The results showed that there different changes occurred in the contents of saccharides corresponding to the different processing methods, in which the contents of monosaccharides—namely arabinose, glucose, mannose, and galactose—had an increasing trend or remained relatively stable.

Despite the utility of data obtained on rodent models of stroke regarding this small molecule, studies in higher-order species, such as primates, whose cerebral vascularization and vessel morphology show more significant similarities with the human counterpart than rodents [ 82 ], can be considered extremely significant for a more direct translation towards the human pathology and for a potential clinical application of SMTP-7.

Replacement of phenyl ( 4a ) by a 2-pyridyl group ( 10a ) or by a morpholinyl group ( 12a ) leads to a reduction of the inhibitory activity, which is highly significant for 12a (42.5 μΜ).

The F -value (49.15) and P -value (<0.001) turned out that the model was highly significant.

Notably, the beverage displayed a decreasing trend in LDL and the LDL:HDL ratio in these subjects.

As shown in Figures S10 and S11 of the Supplementary Materials , the data for 4a – 4e with 7 are plotted in a narrow range, as are those for 6a – 6e with 9 , which seems to exhibit a clear trend.

Since results of radioluminography narrowly missed significance, we decided to divide mice into two groups according to the sum of their tumor volumes and the median tumor volume sum of all mice (A375 pIRES + A375-EphB4 </> 1582.3 mm 3 ).
