An overall trend of the cyclohexane migration tests was that the weight loss results were much higher than those obtained in aqueous media (water or PBS), which is easily understood considering the essentially hydrophobic nature of both plasticizers and cyclohexane.
Though the tensile strength and yield strength of the 4 test steels all show a decreasing trend with the increase of cooling rate ( Figure 9 a,b), the decreasing rates of S3 and S4 are significantly lower than that of S1 and S2.
The difference of two absolute value equal or less than 20 is considered to be insignificant (marked as ≈) with 20 to 50 generally significant (marked as >) and more than 50 be highly significant (marked as »).
Different values of tensile stresses applied during annealing have resulted in a redistribution of magnetoelastic anisotropy showing a decreasing trend in both DW velocities and coercivity of nanocrystalline samples.
This is because the effects of constraints may be a criterion for determining how much the performance of the material is affected, and the effects may be significant at low temperatures.
With the increasing number of acid rain corrosion cycles, the shear strength and the compressive strength of the brick masonry showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.
[ 35 ] reported that the hardness of ZrN coatings increased with an increase in residual stress up to 4.24 GPa in compression, and that further increasing the compressive stress to more than 7.95 GPa resulted in a decreasing trend in hardness, which was attributed to the inverse Hall–Petch effect.
[ 42 ] reported that the hardness and H 3 /E 2 ratio exhibited an increasing trend for the DCMS- and RFMS-cosputtered Zr–Si–N films, and a maximum H 3 /E 2 value of 0.40 GPa was accompanied with a hardness of 20.6 GPa.
The heat transfer time also showed an increasing trend, from 66.33 s to 80.89 s then 83.04 s, corresponding to changes of 21.95% and 2.66%, respectively.
It can be seen that the number of dynamically precipitated particles exhibits an increasing trend with the decrease of strain rate, and their distribution developed from the grain boundary to among the DRXs, with a more diffuse distribution.
The friction coefficient showed a trend of decreasing first and then increasing with the increase in some surface topography parameters at lower pressure, such as the surface height arithmetic mean Sa , surface height distribution kurtosis Sku , surface volume average volume Vvv , and surface center area average void volume Vvc , which are the ISO 25178 international standard parameters.
Interestingly, stage I ovarian carcinoma showed a trend to increased expression of cathepsin B mRNA compared to normal tissue ( Supplemental Figure S1D ).
Although 1 vol.% RGO still homogeneously distributed in the Cu-matrix, GNPs demonstrated an evident trend to aggregate when their content was above 0.5 vol.%.
The SEM micrographs of the TiO 2 thin films in the as-grown and heat-treated state indicate a clear trend; a higher oxygen ratio in the reactive atmosphere is reported to result in a lower deposition rate, easier saturation of growing TiO 2 species on the growth front and consequently more pronounced columnar growth.
Workability of Fresh Paste Workability of the pastes show a clear trend towards higher spreads with increasing l/s ratios and higher fly ash contents ( Figure 3 ).
For the radial displacement, the changing trends are almost the same from an overall perspective, i.e., the radial displacement at each representative moment shows a decreasing trend along the side generatrix.
It can be seen that the radial displacement is increased from top to bottom, showing an increasing trend with the decrease of the inner ring thickness.
