Although there are multiple guidance and recommendations developed in the last five years, suggesting an increasing trend or recognition of importance, there is still a significant lack of availability of specific, high-quality concurrent disorder guidelines in different countries.
Excerpts
Statistical significance was defined as p < 0.05, with p < 0.001 considered highly significant. 3.
It was found that, after adjusting for other socio-demographic factors (gender, school cohort, place of residence, and family affluence): The severity of all symptoms was most strongly associated with time spent on social media, with the strongest associations observed for dizziness and back pain; The weakest associations were observed between the severity of the analyzed symptoms and time spent watching TV or videos; for several symptoms this relationship was not statistically significant (headache, dizziness) or was borderline significant (sleeping difficulties); The goodness-of-fit of the individual GLMs adjusted for four socio-demographic factors ranged from 5.1% (neck or shoulder pain) to 11.8% (dizziness); The goodness-of-fit of the GLMs including only the four screen-time variables as covariates ranged from 3.2% (neck or shoulder pain and eye strain) to 6.3% (dizziness).
A strong, albeit borderline significant, trend was also observed for progressive disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, suggesting that chemoresistance is a major clinical hurdle [ 17 ].
Coming back to the currently described study and given that the p -value was close to significance, the research indicated a potentially clinically meaningful, though statistically non-significant, advantage.
a positive trendgold
During the study period, a positive trend in the number of patient transfers was observed, particularly in 2018 (47.06%; Z = 1.39), and subsequently in 2019 (49.04%; Z = 2.22), 2021 (59.74%; Z = 3.90), and 2023 (57.75%; Z = 3.37) ( Figure 4 ).
The composite index IIC showed a trend toward higher values in the caries group, although this did not reach statistical significance.
However, several regions, particularly within limbic and cerebellar structures, showed nominally significant (uncorrected) group differences.
(ii) Technical parameters: analysis based on slice thickness showed a trend toward higher specificity for acquisitions ≥1 mm compared to <1 mm (approximately 90% vs. 84%), although this difference was not statistically significant ( p ≈ 0.06).
Mean operative time showed a nonsignificant trend towards shorter procedures in 2023 (42 ± 24 min) compared with 46 ± 25 min in 2019.
a weak trendgold
Longitudinal analysis of surgical duration revealed only a weak trend rather than a demonstrable learning curve.
Heatmaps were generated using row-scaled (z-score) expression values for all nominally significant proteins ( n = 31) or the top 20 proteins ranked by raw p -value.
The incidence of premature infants with gestational age ≤ 25 weeks showed an increasing trend during the study, from four cases in the first year to 25 cases in the last year (2024) of the study.
a possible trendgold
This difference approached statistical significance (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.050), suggesting a possible trend toward lower technical success in sleeve gastrectomy-related fistulas.
This study showed a trend towards increased risk in 30-day adverse events amongst patients who underwent GB; statistical significance was not achieved.
n = 2 ONT) suggested an increasing trend in the ONT samples ( Figure 6 D).
Recent evidence indicates an increasing trend in GDM prevalence, partly due to rising obesity rates and changes in diagnostic criteria.
Among PD-first late switchers, mortality hazards were lower across follow-up landmarks, with the greatest reduction at 2 years (HR 0.421; 95%CI: 0.306–0.579), whereas hemodialysis (HD)-first early switchers had higher mortality, with borderline significance (HR 1.614; 95%CI: 0.951–2.740).
Furthermore, the refractive stability of the EvoluxTM group, which showed a trend toward a myopic shift, cannot be confirmed at one month; longer follow-up would be required to determine whether this shift persists, resolves, or progresses [ 16 ].
History of prior HZ showed a numerical trend towards increased incidence among patients who developed HZ in the present cohort, but significance was similarly unmet.
After five months, biochemical parameters were still in the normal range: PTH, 77.4 pg/mL; serum calcium, 2.57 mmol/L; showing a decreasing trend.
a clear trendgold
recurrent tumour, there is a clear trend of longer mean remission period (42 vs. 1.6 months) in the recurrent cohort.
Although the association between UAR and PFS demonstrated borderline significance in the Kaplan–Meier analyses, it is noteworthy that it became statistically significant in the multivariate analyses.
Among the other variables, only menopausal status showed a trend toward statistical significance, although this did not reach significance (HR = 1.46 for premenopausal status, p = 0.23).
In the multivariate analysis, variables considered clinically important or approaching significance in univariate analysis, including age, comorbidity, menopausal status and UAR, were subsequently incorporated into the model.
