Only marginally significant evidence of the link of low daily coffee doses and OA risk and not in all studies was revealed [ 150 , 151 ].

This effect was sex-dependent, showing a weak trend in females and reaching statistical significance in males.

Except for hypophonia, masked facies and resting tremor, there is a clear trend towards more frequent motor manifestations among APOE2 carriers while less frequent in APOE4 carriers, suggesting a dose–response pattern for both alleles.

Research findings have also indicated that under copper (Cu) stress, the ratio of GA to ABA in rapeseed leaves significantly decreases, and the ratios of IAA to ABA and ZR to ABA all exhibit a decreasing trend, with similar patterns in their changes [ 54 ].

The farmland soil around the smelting plant shows a clear trend of pollution and enrichment of Cd, Hg, Zn, Pb, and Cu, with an overall level of severe pollution.

These studies showed a trend toward increased OT mRNA levels in the PVN of the MDD group compared with age-matched controls, as detected by quantitative PCR in snap-frozen brain tissue using a laser capture microscopy [ 57 , 193 ].

Two additional loci (FNI and 2p14) demonstrated borderline significance in moderate-to-severe cases [ 30 ].

The ion in these complexes is always hexa-coordinated, whereas in the surface and transient configurations, the number of molecules in its first hydration shell can be either 5 or 6 with a clear trend of increasing as the total number of molecules in the cluster increases.

Additionally, the funnel plot analysis did not reveal an overrepresentation of marginally significant results ( p -values in the range of 0.05–0.01, marked in red) or near-significant results ( p -values between 0.10 and 0.05, marked in orange).

Consistent with prior observations, several highly significant up-regulated transcripts occupy the upper-right quadrant, whereas fewer down-regulated genes reach comparable significance in BA9.

Moreover, using this model, lower methylation in BDNF_IV1 also had significant predictive value for dementia ( p = 0.009; Table 2 ), although lower BDNF_IV1 methylation in dementia patients only showed a trend when participants were compared directly ( Figure 1 , Supplementary Table S2 ).

A decreasing trend in vaccination rates was observed with increasing age ( Table 1 ).

In contrast, the AUC of the lactic acid peak shows a negative trend, although this effect is not statistically significant ( p = 0.05, coefficient β 2 = −1.15; Figure 6 b), which may suggest an increased AUC in patients with OSAS compared to CTR.

Subsequently, a simple LM was performed, also considering the near-significant correlation between CV and the AUC of the lactic acid peak.

The results of the ELISA of SOD3 show significant differences between the experimental groups ( Figure 5 b, Mann–Whitney test, p = 0.042): a positive trend was observed in the OSAS group compared to the CTR.

The visual field index (VFI) was lower in POAG patients (87.23% compared to 98.01% in controls); this difference was statistically significant ( p = 0.035), suggesting a possible trend toward overall visual function decline.

The shoots cultured in the presence of IBA or ACC alone showed a decreasing trend in ABA level as the rooting process progressed.

Nonetheless, a clear trend emerged: silencing T-cadherin increased lipid droplet accumulation, whereas its overexpression reduced the fraction of cells undergoing adipogenic differentiation.

Crystallization of the P4HA2 structure shows rearrangements of other conserved residues, for example, Tyr196 and Arg223, which may be significant enough to cause differences in contacts in the crystal structure, possibly explaining other differences in substrate binding affinities as described above [ 17 ].

We found that 10 days after the booster, the levels of IgG1, IgG2b, and IgG3 were significantly higher in the CCR7 −/− mice than in WT mice, and levels of IgG2c were trending towards significance as well.

Additionally, a highly significant correlation was found between these neurometabolic ratios and the motor sub-scores of the UPDRS, supporting the therapeutic efficacy of ropinirole in improving motor performance.
