In the multivariate Cox’s regression analysis (adjusted to patient’s tumor stage, lymph node status (N-stage) and tumor grade), a high CAIX protein level in the tumor showed a trend of significance for an increased risk of death (RR = 1.7; p = 0.066) compared to patients with a low CAIX protein level in their tumor ( Table 2 , Figure 5 ).
Changes of total lymphocytes during the study period after the administration of SBRT showed a trend towards statistical significance using Friedman one-way ANOVA ( p = 0.066).
Although at present, the only statistically significant differences were obtained between adult patients with PCD patients and healthy children, a clear trend towards reduced NET formation can be noted ( p = 0.066). 2.7.
Healthy controls showed a greater alpha diversity based on observed OTUs (* p = 0.05) and marginally significant Chao1 indices ( p = 0.066) ( Figure 2 ).
In COVID-19 patients, we found a statistically significant positive linear correlation between the DCQ (M2) ratio and ALT activity, whereas the p value for the AST activity was almost significant ( p = 0.0667).
Interestingly, HL showed a similar pattern of activity as these aggressive entities with significantly reduced sFAP activity compared with FL and CLL/SLL ( p = 0.029 and p = 0.024, respectively) and showed a trend toward reduced activity compared with the healthy refence group ( p = 0.067) ( Figure S1B ).
The interaction test between treatment (CT alone or CT + B) and EMAST status was not significant for EMAST, even though unstable patients treated with B often had a reduction in PFS approaching significance ( p = 0.067).
Diplotype 2 (AGAG/AAAA, 2748 ng/mL) had a higher median than the others, although the difference between it and diplotype 3 did not quite reach statistical significance ( p = 0.067).
Between CKD-T stage 1 and 2, the drop of s-Uromodulin showed borderline significance ( p = 0.067), while s-Uromodulin was significantly lower in CKD-T stage 2 compared to CKD-T stage 3 ( p < 0.05) and in CKD-T stage 3 compared to CKD-T stage 4 ( p < 0.05).
However, TNF-α levels showed a trend toward reduction ( p = 0.067), which may reflect prior exposure to TNF-α inhibitors before the initiation of brodalumab.
Visceral expression of Pparg ( Figure 5 b) and Cebpa ( Figure 5 c) were approximately 50% lower in the exercise group, although these did not quite reach statistical significance ( p = 0.0674 and p = 0.1058 respectively).
A comparison of Kaplan–Meier survival curves showed a clear trend ( p = 0.0678) for a lower mortality rate in AAV8-A-I TAC mice compared to control TAC mice (hazard ratio for mortality of 0.543; 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.282 to 1.05) during eight weeks of follow-up ( Figure 1 ).
However, in HT patients, significantly higher mean values of ACE and Chao1 indices were observed than in healthy controls ( p -value = 0.014 and p -value = 0.008, respectively) and the Shannon index was increased at the margin of significance ( p -value = 0.068).
After applying the False Discovery Rate (FDR) correction (q = 0.05), the association between NOS3 c.-786T>C and MOF remained statistically significant ( p = 0.032), whereas the association with MODS lost significance but showed a trend toward an increased risk ( p = 0.068).
In the case of the rs7173743 polymorphism, there were no statistically significant differences among allele and genotype frequencies of studied groups; however, we observed an increasing trend in the frequency of the T allele carriers in patients compared to controls ( p = 0.068), which may predispose to CAD and indicate the potential protective role of CC homozygosity ( p = 0.068).
However, the association between ATP7A expression in the peritoneum at IDS and the PFI approaches statistical significance ( p = 0.068), indicating a moderate relationship.
With respect to the HLA-G +3142 C>G donor genotype, neither it was associated with occurrence of CMV infection ( p = 0.77, HR 0.85; 95% CI: 0.28–2.59; Table 1 B) or with acute cellular rejection ( p = 0.39; HR 0.7; 95% CI: 0.3–1.6), while there was a borderline significance with allograft loss ( p = 0.068; HR 2.9; 95% CI: 0.8–9.5; Table 2 B).
