Nevertheless, in this study, although we found an increase in SM long-chain acylcarnitine levels in line with the maternal diet; despite an obvious trend, GE was not able to revert values back to control levels. 3.3.

Interestingly, these findings may indicate that MMP-2 expression is not independent, and imbalances in the MMP-2/TIMP-2 ratio may be significant in the pathogenesis of ocular hypertension in glaucoma [ 171 ].
It is important to note that the differences in drug release rates are quite significant; after 24 h only, <40% of the drug had been released from 10% of the pAAm hydrogels, whereas ca. 70% of the drug had been released from 2.5% pAAm hydrogels.
However, as shown in Figure 2 A,B, 27-OHC-treated mice showed a decreasing trend in the NORI and FDI value, while the 24S-OHC-treated group exhibited an increasing trend.
A highly significant difference was demonstrated between the Vaseline-treated and psoriatic groups at both observation points (24 h and 96 h) ( Figure 4 ) for all three mouse strains.
Only one study assessed the relationship between p-mTOR and the presence of AE [ 40 ], showing that the frequency of mTOR immunopositivity was 58% in non-AE, 63% in AE, and 77% in EAOC, with an increasing trend from benign and precursor lesions toward cancer.
The p-STAT1 score increased significantly in the PD-L1-positive group ( Figure 5 A), and the p-EGFR score showed an increasing trend, although this was not significant ( Figure 5 B).
The analyses showed that protein expressions of β-tubulin, espin, E-cad, and N-cad were significantly decreased, while β-catenin and VIM showed a trend to decrease.
Although not significant within 7 weeks, HFCD presented a clear trend towards a faster weight gain than chow-fed mice ( Supplementary Figure S1 ).
Likewise, Ac-YVAD-cmk significantly reduced the expression of NLRP3 and IL-18, and showed a trend to the reduction in the expression of CAS1, CAS11, and IL-1β, in primary macrophages ( Figure 1 ).
vSMCs treated with TAA-exosomes showed a trend of decreased mRNA expression of smooth muscle-cell myosin-heavy-chain 11 ( SMMHC ), -SMA , and SM-calponin compared to control groups ( Figure 3 C).
Although B6NJ females tended to respond more in the inactive hole than males at higher MA concentrations, no sex difference was apparent in this substrain ( Figure 3 B, right) (sex×concentration ANOVA, all p ’s > 0.12).
In the current study even though GT3-treatment did not affect irradiation-induced crypt survival at day 4 or 7, yet we still observed that GT3 showed a trend of increasing crypt survival on day 4.
The RFW revealed highly significant correlations with the SFW (0.53–0.75), RSR (0.62–0.77), and several root morphological traits, including the TRL (0.67–0.87), TSA (0.85–0.93), and TRV (r = 0.76–0.93); however, it had relatively low correlations with the TNR (0.28–0.37) and PRL (0.20–0.45).
Immunohistochemical analysis using a 6E10 antibody directed against Aβ peptide ( Figure 7 ) revealed an increasing trend of Aβ deposits around cell nuclei from 4 to 12 months of age in Tg2576 mice maintained on the WD, when compared to control Tg2576 groups.
In the hippocampus only in the 8M WD group, the levels of two assessed kinases, the active form of Akt and the inactive form of GSK-3β, showed a decreasing trend compared with age-matched controls.
However, we could not detect a clear trend to determine whether UGCG and acetyl-CoA carboxylase are connected in the context of liver tumor development [ 18 ].
One other miRNA, miR-493-3p, showed a trend for statistical significance in the discovery cohort, and was found significantly differentially expressed in the validation cohort ( p ≤ 0.05) with an upregulation in SCCC compared to OSC ( Supplementary Figure S3 ).
While at 48 h, these levels remained rather stable for CDDP and STS (33.8–53.2%), we now also detected a reduction in ATP levels within DX treated cells, which was marginally significant when treated with 2.5 μM DX (12.3%) and significant when treated with 5 μM DX (19.3%).
The difference in total anthocyanin content between the three treatments was highly significant.
The semiquantitative evaluation of immunostaining intensity, reported as Immunofluorescence Intensity Score (IFIS) in Table 1 , showed that the level of MPO protein in the stromal compartments had a decreasing trend from the right colon to the left colon to the rectum, and this trend was statistically significant ( Table 1 ). 2.2.
CD38 showed an increasing trend, even though it was only significant for H2228 spheres, p < 0.01.
In C57/Bl6 mice, we observed a highly significant positive correlation between the concentrations of DSS in the drinking water and both histology score and the percentage of Ki67 positive cells, indicating that the amount of DSS administered to these animals significantly affected both colon remodeling/development of malignancy and cell proliferation.
However, although in vitro sIgE to Pru p 3 showed a trend toward increasing with severity, and Ara h 9 in vitro sIgE appeared to be decreasing with the severity of allergic reactions, no significant differences were found ( Table 1 ). 2.2.
However, remarkably, the absence of HPSE-1 in both donor T cells and recipient mice resulted in a dramatic and highly significant increase in the frequency of diabetes-free mice from 0% in WT to ~60% in double KO mice ( Figure 2 B).
