rs1029153 and rs2297630 (3′ UTR and intron variants, respectively) have been implicated as possibly significant in other diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, primary pediatric immune thrombocytopenia, and response to hepatitis C treatment [ 19 , 20 , 21 ], which indicates that these SNPs may have an impact on CXCL12 expression.

However, we found a decreasing trend in lipid peroxidation levels in the STS pre-treatment and combination treatment groups for both our terminal and POD-3 analyses.

We noted that during heat-stress treatment from 0 to 12 h, the expression of ABF3 ( Solyc01g108080.4 ) manifested an increasing trend in both KO and WT lines, while it decreased in the OE lines ( Figure 7 and Table S3 ).

However, the expression of Myostatin showed a trend to increase ( Figure 4 L), and MT1 expression was significantly elevated ( Figure 4 M).

Regarding the relationship between molecular subtype and prognosis in patients with PDAC, patients with a basal-like subtype showed a trend towards lower PFS and OS, but statistical significance was not reached, probably due to the small sample size of our cohort.

Furthermore, the virus titer decreased significantly under the treatment of the TLR7 inhibitor and showed an increasing trend with the treatment of the TLR7 agonist ( Figure 3 E).

Apart from sCD40L, all the elevated mediators showed a trend of increasing with disease severity, highlighting their importance in disease pathology.

Hsp70Bbb showed a trend toward increased expression in agn ts3 , but the difference was not statistically significant.

The differences between the cases and controls were highly significant in all tested variants of the AUC models; however, there were considerable overlaps of the individual result ranges, which are represented by the long “whiskers” in Figure 2 .

In addition, VvAGL11 exhibited a decreasing trend during seed abortion, indicating that VvAGL11 might be one negative regulator in the whole process of seed abortion.

Similarly, VvYUC10 , a key synthase in the IAA metabolic pathway, was down-regulated, which had an opposite effect between VvAGL6-2 and VvAGL15 with an obvious trend on the increase.

The relative expression levels of VvAGL6-2, VvAGL3, VvAGL15, VvAGL11, VvAGL80 , and VvAGL62 were high among VvAGLs sub-family that demonstrated an overall decreasing trend in the seedless varieties, and only the expression of VvAGL15 and VvAGL6-2 showed an increasing trend, and they exhibit different trends in the seeded variety species.

After 12 weeks, the treatment switch did cause slightly significant compositional changes at the genus level, but not at the phylum.

Teza and Iva caused a significant increase in the total levels of polyubiquitinated (PolyUb) proteins, while an increasing trend was seen with Elexa ( Figure 1 E,F). p62/SQSTM1 (referred to below as p62) which acts as an autophagy receptor [ 35 ], recognizing and binding to ubiquitinated proteins and organelles that need to be degraded, was increased with Elexa, Iva and ET ( Figure 1 D,F).

Overall, immature (CD16− CD62L+) and aged (CD16+ CD62L−) neutrophils showed a trend toward negative correlation in most of the functional parameters (most of the heat map shows a blue color demonstrating a lower r 2 ), and only a few pairs of correlation reached significant values ( Figure 2 G).

In detail, the progressive motility and kinetic parameters of post-thawed Chinese rare minnow sperm exhibited an increasing trend as the concentration of AFPs increased from 0.1 to 10 μg/mL; however, these values declined when the concentration of AFPs reached 100 μg/mL.

However, the prevalence of knee OA has also significantly increased among younger age groups (0–34 years, 35–39 years, and 40–44 years), reflecting an unexpected trend towards younger onset [ 9 ].

Plasma levels of both total adiponectin and high molecular weight adiponectin (HMW) were also inversely related to the BMI, insulin resistance, and triglyceride levels, showing a decreasing trend in obesity that is reversible with weight loss [ 76 , 77 ].

However, we should note that 0.6 mM 2DG consistently increased CD69 levels regardless of treatment timing and even showed a trend towards higher IL-2 levels when administered at the beginning of activation.

PD-1 expression level was reduced by both 2DG concentrations to a similar degree (60% of control) in CD4+ cells, while in CD8+ cells, only a weak trend of decreased PD-1 (ns) was observed ( Figure 1 G,H).

We observed a slight trend towards a lower percentage of T-bet+ cells in both CD4+ ( Figure 6 A, ns) and CD8+ ( Figure 6 B) 2DG-treated T cells.

While 0.6 mM 2DG did not substantially reduce IL-2 secretion, there was a clear trend towards lower IL-2 levels with the 4.8 mM 2DG treatment ( Figure 3 E, ns).
