Mycorrhizal Dependency and Neighbor Effects In Trifolium , mycorrhizal growth dependency (MGD) was not affected by competition or fertilization, while both factors did affect MGD in Lolium ( Table 1 ), although a clear trend in the latter species was absent ( Figure 6 ).
The potential impact this could have in reducing use of nitrogen fertilizers, and for overall growth of plants where fertilizers are not available, is quite significant.
Expression levels of novel_miR_186 in “Roufurong” increased gradually and peaked at S4, whereas those of PsMYB2 and PsWRKY1 showed a slightly increasing trend throughout the blooming stages.
GWAS revealed a highly significant association of fruit shape categories with CaOFP20 markers on chromosome 10 ( Table 5 ; Figure 8A ), whereas no association of CaOFP20 markers was observed for fruit shape index (data not shown).
In this study, the JA content did not change much during the infection process, but exhibited a decreasing trend, suggesting that JA has little to do with resistance to P. viticola .
The expression levels showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, consistent with previous studies in CS ( Figure 6B ; Simons et al., 2006 ).
Average ring density and MXD chronologies of alder were influenced by cDBH and showed a significant Period effect with smaller values between 2003 and 2010 than before 2003 at both stands ( post-hoc test P = 0.019 and 0.008, respectively), and a marginally significant Stand × Period effect.
The signals from other carbons in xylan, arabinose substituted xylan, and the amorphous and crystalline cellulose intensities do not show a clear trend.
Yield and Yield Components The ANOVA results ( Table 3 ) showed that S, N, and D had highly significant effects on the TGW, GWPE, and yield, and the interaction of S × N had a significant effect on yield in both years and the GWPE in 2020, and the interaction of S × D had a significant effect on yield in both years.
Results Genetic Variability and Correlation ANOVA revealed highly significant mean squares for all the traits across four environments viz ., Kharif (2018), Kharif (2019), Summer (2019), and Summer (2020) as well as in Kharif and Summer pooled over environments ( Supplementary Table 3 ).
When the intensity of the disturbance change in the grassland causes a significant trend change in the green coverage, this situation is judged as the type of postdisturbance change.
soybean plant height QTL QTN candidate genes The results of ANOVA ( Table 2 ) showed that there were highly significant differences in environment, genotype, and genotype × environment interaction effect, which indicated that PH was influenced not only by genotype and environment but also by genotype by environment interaction effect.
Among the five genes, the root expressions of CaCCD1a and CaCCD4a significantly decreased after treatment with ABA, MeJA, and SA for 1, 6, and 24 h, while the expression levels in leaves showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.
The large variation detected for flowering time, its component phases, final leaf number (FLN) and phyllochron was dominated by differences between genotypes, and to a lesser extent, though still highly significant, by temperature and interactions of genotype with both temperature and vernalization ( Table 2 ).
While the GB content of both tetraploid genotypes showed an increasing trend from the control to 15% PEG treatment, this trend was observed only in 5 and 10% PEG treatments in their diploid control genotypes.
Actual frost risk for crop does not decrease as expected and shows an increasing trend in the future in some regions ( He et al., 2012 ; Crimp, 2014 ).
Abscisic acid was detected in the form of abscisic acid (ABA) and ABA-glucosyl ester (ABA-GE), and the concentration of ABA showed a decreasing trend ( Figure 7B ).
