In this study, soil EC showed a decreasing trend from the bud stage to anthesis and then increased at maturation.

While Bacteroidia showed a decreasing trend toward the last 2 weeks of succession, both Alphaproteobacteria and Gammaproteobacteria shared the same increasing tendency throughout 5 weeks ( Supplementary Table 4 ).

3.3 High-throughput sequencing of 16S rDNA 3.3.1 Venn and α-diversity analysis of gut microbiota A Venn analysis showed a total of 679 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) in the two groups ( Figure 4A ), of which each group had unique OTUs, and the OTUs in the OVX group showed a decreasing trend compared with the sham group.
