Compared to non-DCB patients, patients who exhibited DCB showed a trend towards increased Jaccard similarity, i.e., greater proportion of shared CDR3 sequences between PRE and FR samples ( p = 0.052; Figure S7 and Table S5 ).
The k PL showed borderline significance in predicting the variance in tumor MCT1 expression at the biopsy level ( p = 0.052; Supplementary Figure S8 ) and was independent of the cell density in tumor biopsies ( p = 0.95, Supplementary Figure S7 ).
However, as shown in Supplementary Figure S3B , a possible trend toward significance showing an association between SETDB1 expression and NSCLC patients carrying mutations for the TP53 gene was observed (SMD: 0.15; 95% CI: −0.004–0.31; p = 0.052), with low heterogeneity ( I 2 = 0%; p = 0.60).
After multivariate analysis, only combined nodal status and preoperative CEA ( p = 0.033), no postoperative s-CT ( p = 0.001), positive margins ( p = 0.008), and, with borderline significance, age ( p = 0.052) were independently associated with PM. 4.
The univariate analysis also reveals a trend for FC to reduce the increase in financial difficulty, which is marginally significant (β = −0.18 ± 0.094, p = 0.052) ( Table 3 ).
We found this association between the FOXL2 p.C134W mutation status and FOXL2 positivity by IHC to be marginally statistically significant (mid- p -value = 0.052).
Finally, MCT1 was overexpressed in 6/10 NSCLC samples (60%); however, the difference between the tumor tissues (median = 7.07) and the adjacent tissues (median = 9.51) was marginally statistically significant ( p = 0.052) ( Figure 2 ). 3.3.
The correlation of CA125 to disease recurrence was marginally significant ( p = 0.0522) without enough statistical power to make a definitive statement about it.
Probability of OS was almost significantly higher in period V compared with period IV (1.0 vs. 0.74, p = 0.05239), and no significant differences were found in the probability of EFS and RFS between periods IV and V (0.61 ± 0.07 vs. 0.71 ± 0.1 and 0.67 ± 0.08 vs. 0.71 ± 0.12; Figure S6 ).

Lesion Measurability and CiRT Status Lesion measurability exhibited a borderline significant association with CiRT classification ( p = 0.0525).
As the BCLC staging system is the most widely used algorithm for treatment allocation and determination of prognosis of patients with HCC [ 2 ], we also performed subgroup analyses stratified according to BCLC stage, and found a significant prognostic effect of the combined score on overall survival only in the BCLC A group, although in BCLC B and C patients, a strong trend was observed ( p = 0.053 and 0.052, respectively) ( Figure 5 c).
Unfortunately, in the initially report there was no significant difference in median overall survival of 11.2 months (95% CI 9.5–12.7) in the experimental arm versus 10.0 months (95% CI 8.3–11.0) in the placebo group; however, the p value was very close to significance at p = 0.053.
Gross total resection showed a trend toward improved survival (HR = 0.563, 95% CI: 0.315–1.007, p = 0.053), though it did not reach statistical significance. 5-ALA remained non-significant in the multivariable model (HR = 0.885, 95% CI: 0.554–1.413, p = 0.608), suggesting that while it improves resection extent, it does not independently affect survival when accounting for other clinical variables. 3.6.
