It is interesting, however, that the right thigh showed no similar significant change in dimple volume throughout the study (n = 14, p = 0.6890) - see Figure 7 . When the data for both thighs are combined, they also show no significance with Tukey’s multiple comparison, although it is very close to significance (n = 31, p = 0.0514) – see Figure 8 .
Cannabis use showed a covariable effect (P = 0.001) and a very close to significance time effect (P = 0.052).
The results from linear mixed models highlighted no effect of Group, a significant effect of Type of film (for positive and negative films and a trend very close to significance for poker-related films; p = 0.052) and a significant Group x Type of film interaction (for poker-related films only).
Again, in this aspect, evidence on the goodness of using CHX plus chitosan for the prevention of pain after third molar surgery derives exclusively from two clinical trials which, although by definition do not support solid evidence, yield a result very close to significance ( p = 0.052), suggesting that new research studies probably allow confirmation of the benefits regarding the combination of both drugs.

Finally, to know at what time the differences between the groups occurred, we proceeded to calculate the estimates between the group factor and time, finding significant differences with respect to personal responsibility ( p = 0.022) and differences very close to significance for social responsibility ( p = 0.052) with a medium effect size (η 2 = 0.068) in favour of the control group in the pre-test, and the violence observed showed significant differences in favour of the experimental group in the post-test ( p = 0.016).
Results show significant monovariate differences in survival for 9 tumor types (BLCA, CESC, GBM, LGG, KICH, KIRC, KIRP, MESO, STAD (see Figure 4 legend for abbreviations, all p-values < 0.05; Figure 4B ), with uveal melanoma (UVM) also being very close to significance (p-value = 0.052) ( Supplementary Figure 5 ).
Also, the p-value is very close to significance (p=0.0523) for +874TT genotype (high producer of INF-γ) and low proviral load, compared to the genotypes +874AA and +874AT.

It should be noted that in our report, we applied two-tailed statistics; as the comparisons were made following specific predictions, one-tailed statistics for Rank 1 animals in those results give trends very close to significance (i.e., p<0.056, P<0.075, p<0.08; p<0.05; p<0.1; p<0.12; p<0.056; p<0.056) while they are clearly not significant for Rank 4 mice, further supporting the reported results.
