Discussion In the present study, we demonstrated that the obesity measures BMI, fat mass, hip circumference, and waist circumference are correlated with PA as well as with three FTO variants, and that there was some trend toward significance in the interaction effects between PA and FTO genetic variants on these four obesity-related phenotypes in a Latino population.
Similarly, for the recommendation of any CAM treatments from a doctor in the last 12 months, the odds ratio was higher for individuals with tertiary education (OR 2.39; 95% CI: 1.00–5.67, p -value = 0.05), suggesting a potential trend toward significance, indicating that higher education may be associated with a greater likelihood of receiving CAM treatments.
However, although not statistically significant, both SMI-L3 and its derived sarcopenia-related cut-off demonstrated an overlapping trend toward significance in line with the other individual aforementioned predictors (aOR: 0.96, 95% CI: 0.92–1.1 and aOR: 2.33, 95% CI: 0.99–5.52) ( Table S1A ).
Many variables have shown a promising trend toward significance in forecasting CT scan improvement: younger age, female sex, fewer overall burden of smoking, absence of hypertension, higher lymphocyte count at admission, lower N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (nt-proBNP) at admission, therapy with lopinavir/ritonavir.
When examining TKAs (n = 128) separately as a group, there was also no difference in inpatient MMEs (114.9 vs 105.9, P = .36) or outpatient prescribed MMEs (191 vs 158, P = .06) between the self-reported cannabis users and matched controls, respectively, although the outpatient prescribed MMEs did trend toward significance.
