From the Type 2 Diabetes Knowledge Portal ( http://www.type2diabetesgenetics.org/ , searched on 3.26.2018), we found that nominally significant associations between rs2296966 and risk of DM were observed in three previous studies, including BioMe AMP T2D GWAS (OR = 0.838, p = 0.036), GWAS SIGMA (OR = 1.13, p = 0.0232), and GoT2D WGS (OR = 1.25, p = 0.0483), from different populations.
Lateralization analysis Our lateralization index (LI) analyses revealed a nominally significant association between insight propensity and leftward FA asymmetry in the dorsal composite (β_std = 0.323, p = 0.036), however this effect did not survive FDR correction ( q = 0.216).
BPD showed a statistically significant positive genetic correlation with Neuroticism (rg = 0.34, p = 6.3*10 −5 ) and nominally significant correlation with Openness (rg = 0.24, p = 0.036) (see Fig. 1 and Table 2 ).
5c ), though two drug classes are nominally significant before controlling the false discovery rate: proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) ( p = 0.036) and anti-hyperglycemics ( p = 0.041).
PLEKHA1 showed a nominally significant MCI versus CN difference (T = 2.11, P = 0.036, FDR P = 0.225), and TBK1 did not reach significance ( Supplementary Table S28 ).
Furthermore, a positive correlation between the 5-year mean IGF-1 SDS and the duration of GHRT was nominally significant (r = 0.421, p = 0.036).
The inverse variance weighted (IVW) analysis indicated a nominally significant association between genetically predicted depressed affect and DKD (OR: 2.452; 95% CI: 1.061–5.671; p = 0.036), while the weighted median method also yielded a statistically significant estimate (OR: 3.709; 95% CI: 1.146–12.003; p = 0.029).
In contrast, the TimePeriod × Sex interaction was not consistent: it was not significant for PC1–PC5 or PC1–PC8 but became only nominally significant when additional low‐variance PCs were included (PC1–PC10 and PC1–PC12; p = 0.036 and 0.044) (Table S9 ).
However, when we compared the ESRS-based AIP indicators between the carriers of certain HTR2C haplotypes ( Table 2 ), we detected a nominally significant ( p = 0.036) association (rejected due to the Bonferroni correction) of the HTR2C CC haplotype with the severity of parkinsonism, evaluated with the ESRS subscale VI.
Only two out of the 138 prioritized genes were nominally significant in the TCGA-KIRC dataset, namely SIPA1L2 ( p = 0.036), which encodes the signal-induced proliferation-associated 1 like 2, and EIF3A ( p = 0.048), which encodes the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit A.
In the forest plot summary ( Figure 4 G), the IVW estimator yielded a nominally significant association ( p = 0.0361), with an OR of 0.9961 (95% CI: 0.9925–0.9997).
The response at another SP (d_170.1) was significantly negatively associated with smoking ( p = 0.00513) when self-reported smoking statuses were used, but the association was only nominally significant when the classification was based on plasma cotinine concentration ( p = 0.0365).
full term birth (N = 136 samples) within the Diverse CST, the global p-value for the vaginal microbiome was not significant (p=0.888) and the relative abundance of none of these 11 ASV were associated with sPTB when accounting for multiple comparisons, although the raw p-value for one ASV was nominally significant ( Aerococcus christensenii , p=0.0367) at the 5% level.
For primary anxiety response, those defined as responders at follow-up showed a small increase in SERT methylation during the treatment period (from pre- to posttreatment, +1.1%) at CpG site 4, whereas nonresponders showed a larger decrease in methylation (nominally significant;−5.9%, t (91)=2.114, P =0.037, d =0.499; see Figure 1a ).
The significant expression correlation was primarily driven by mutations at two known cancer drivers TP53 ( p = 2.3 × 10 −4 ) and GATA3 ( p = 2.1 × 10 −4 ), with MYC also nominally significant ( p = 3.7 × 10 −2 ).
Similarly, the conditional multivariable MR association of IL-6 on AN is only nominally significant (OR = 0.96, [95% CI = 0.93–0.99], P = 0.037).
This revealed a nominally significant overrepresentation of DNMs (p = 0.037), and a stronger effect on binding strength, for DNMs located in the sequence of the core binding region of the TF Musculin (MSC).
A nominally significant interaction effect was observed in patients with hypertension ( P = 0.037) and in those with wide QRS ( P = 0.003) ( Table 6 ).
An initial synthesis of the volume data from the left and right habenula using a paired samples t ‐test also supported this point: no significant interhemispheric differences for either the healthy samples ( t (24) = 1.443, p = .162, Cohen d = 0.289), or the patients with SCZ ( t (4) = −0.550, p = .612, d = −0.246); there appeared to be a nominally significant difference in MDD subgroup ( t (10) = 2.403, p = .037, d = 0.725), but it did not survive correction of multiple testing.
