Conclusions Intention-to-treat analysis of our primary outcome, A1C at 12 months, showed modest improvement favoring the CHW intervention, but that improvement failed to reach statistical significance at the prespecified threshold of P < 0.05 [ P = 0.131 for the (randomization group × time) term in the adjusted mixed model].
Factors such as age of initial sexual intercourse, duration of menstrual period, and gravida and para appeared associated with microbiota composition at one or more sites, but failed to reach statistical significance after controlling for multiple testing (permutational multivariate analysis of variance (PERMANOVA), P < 0.05 but q > 0.05, Supplementary Data 8 and 9 ).
In the converse causal direction, examining the influence of cognitive function on BMI, all employed MR techniques except for GSMR failed to reach statistical significance (GSMR β = −0.05, P < 0.05), as illustrated in Figure 2 . 3.5 Cross-trait meta-analysis Drawing on genetic correlations and causal outcome effects, there is evidence of a genetic mechanism underlying the relationship between BMI and cognitive function.
Although the flat and total number of fibroblasts were significantly higher in Group B than in Group A ( P < 0.001), the difference in the number of round fibroblasts between these groups failed to reach statistical significance at P < 0.05 [ Table 6 ].
Although the interaction of Choline × Sex failed to reach statistical significance, a main effect of Choline on bout length among males during the dark cycle was significant [ F 1,49 = 3.912, p < 0.05], an effect driven by increases in bout length among ethanol‐exposed male subjects [EtOH + Choline > EtOH + Saline, p < 0.05] (Figure 3B ).
Both hnRNP K siRNA knockdown and MEK inhibition led to the highest fraction of early and late apoptosis under irradiated compared to control conditions, respectively; this result, however, failed to reach statistical significance ( p = 0.05).
