Genotype‐dependent differences in pulse pressure (PP) values failed to reach statistical significance after adjustment for sex, age, and BMI (AA/AG vs GG, 39±8 mm Hg vs 44±7 mm Hg, P =0.026, P adj =0.081).
The exogenouse acetylcholine-induced contractile muscle force was 52.3% after 1000 μM lidocaine, but after statistical adjustment for multiple concentration points, this failed to reach statistical significance (103 ± 3.69 vs 50.7 ± 13.6%; p = 0.03).
Underlying pathology of aneurysmal disease was statistically the most likely group to require reintervention, followed by dissection ( p = 0.4) (although this figure failed to reach statistical significance) and then trauma ( p = 0.04), irrespective of gender or age (Fig. 7 ).
Specifically, there was a decrease in median IFN-γ responses to ESAT-6 and CFP-10 and an increase in the response to PPD following six months of anti-tuberculous treatment, though the change in response to PPD failed to reach statistical significance (ESAT-6 median 110 SFCs/10 6 PBMC (IQR 65-305) vs. 15 (10-115), p = 0.04; CFP-10 177 (48-508) vs. 20 (5-165), p = 0.004; PPD 155 (82-307) vs. 515 (45-1010), p = 0.12).
Although the mean [90% CI] TWA overall treatment effects versus placebo of −0.7 [−2.0, 0.5] for MRVS and −1.1 [−2.7, 0.5] for YGTSS-TTS failed to reach statistical significance, analysis of each time point revealed that the treatment effect on YGTSS-TTS was significant versus placebo at the 8 h time point (−3.0 [−5.4, −0.6], p=0.04) and statistically significant mean placebo-adjusted reductions were also observed for YGTSS-MTS at 4 hours post-dose (−1.5 [−2.8, −0.3], p=0.05).
As for the parallel (co)morbidity clusters in COPD and controls, telomere length was comparable between both “Less (Co)morbidity” clusters C1 and X1, and significantly reduced in cluster C2 versus X2, while the difference failed to reach statistical significance for cluster C3 versus X3 (10.22 ± 1.90 versus 10.82 ± 1.45 kbp, p = 0.05) ( Figure 5 and Appendix A , Table A2 ). 4.
