The expression of the corresponding mRNA transcripts was determined in parallel, which mirrored the protein expression data in the case of Mvp and Pak1 , consistent with their transcriptional upregulation in dystrophic muscle, although some changes between WT and the dystrophic groups did not reach statistical significance at the P < 0.05 level ( Fig. 7 C ).
For the subgroup sensitivity analysis, participants treated with low-frequency and moderate-frequency MST had numerically higher rates of remission from suicidality (16 participants [55.2%] and 12 participants [54.5%], respectively) than those treated with high-frequency MST (4 participants [25.0%]) ( Figure 2 ); however, the differences between these rates did not reach statistical significance (low vs high frequency, χ 2 1 = 3.802; P = .05).
The Cox regression with Firth’s penalized maximum likelihood analysis revealed that only MACE (χ 2 = 23.6; HR 9.49 (3.63–30.72); p < 0.001) was independently associated with increased risk of CVD death, whereas the effect of age did not reach statistical significance (χ 2 = 3.8; HR 1.02 (1.00–1.09); p = 0.05) ( Figure 3 ). 3.3.
In a 12-month, double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial (VIDOMA trial), we previously found evidence for a greater improvement with omega-3 LCPUFA with or without vitamin D in social interaction in children with ASD compared with placebo but the difference did not reach statistical significance ( P < 0.05) for most comparisons.
Survivors with high CRC screening test knowledge were more likely to undergo screening, though this did not reach statistical significance (p=0.05) On multivariate analysis, physician’s recommendation, higher household income and survivors’ perceived need to undergo screening remained significantly correlated with actual CRC screening (OR 7.15 (95% CI 3.00 – 17.1), p<0.001; OR 3.32 (95% CI 1.33- 8.31), p=0.01; OR 7.10 (95% CI 3.08-16.4), p<0.001), whereas education level, family history and high CRC symptom knowledge were no longer significant ( Table 3 ).
Consistent with our previous results, iPSC-derived SNs with WT FUS showed a trend toward decreased tracing over time, which did not reach statistical significance ( Supplementary Figures S2C,D ). iPSC-derived SNs with P525L FUS-eGFP showed a 5-fold decrease in tracing ( p < 0.05, 2way ANOVA, Sidak post-test for multiple comparisons; Supplementary Figures S2C,D ), consistent with the age-dependent neurodegeneration observed in ALS.
Higher survival was also seen in resection (n = 28; low‐ vs high‐NLR; median OS 36.4 vs 42.4 months; P = 0.83) and IO (n = 16; low‐ vs high‐NLR; median OS 33.1 vs 10.7 months; P = 0.0674), although this did not reach statistical significance. 3.7 Liver status and NLR Patients with Child‐Pugh A disease had higher median ALC ( P < 0.05), whereas patients with Child‐Pugh B/C disease had higher comorbidity indices (median 10.0 vs 6.5, P < 0.0001), MELD scores (13.0 vs 7.0, P < 0.0001), and higher rates of cirrhosis ( P < 0.05).
History of VTE (HR, 1.81; 95% CI, 0.84–3.88; p=0.10), symptomatic DVT (HR, 1.81; 95% CI, 0.84–3.88; p=0.12), unprovoked PE (HR, 1.70; 95% CI, 0.89–3.25; p=0.10), and female sex (HR, 1.42; 95% CI, 0.78–2.55; p=0.24) were associated with increased risk of a VTE recurrent event, but these factors did not reach statistical significance at the p≤0.05 level.
