Mortality Rates Between Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Over Time In terms of in-hospital mortality rates, Lin et al reported a 10.5% mortality rate for CABG + MVR vs 14% for PCI (P = 0.362), although this did not reach statistical significance. 10 Wang et al reported a higher mortality rate for propensity-matched patients undergoing PCI + TMVr compared to CABG + SMVr (13.8% vs 4.5%, P = 0.034). 11 One study, Kang et al, reported on 30-day mortality rate, finding no difference between CABG and PCI (1.7% vs 3.0%, P = 0.62). 12 Pooled estimates of 30 day mortality identified no significant difference between interventional or surgical approaches to revascularization (OR: 1.80, 95% CI: 0.78–4.15, z -score 1.38, P = 0.17) (Fig. 2 A).

Overall survival showed a trend toward worse prognosis in patients with germline mutations ( P =0.034); however, this difference did not reach statistical significance in multivariate analysis that included age, 2022 ELN risk classification, and allogeneic HCT status (hazard ratio =1.00; 95% confidence interval: 0.53-1.86; P =0.989) ( Online Supplementary Figure S2 ).
Secondary outcomes CMR parameters at 2 to 7 days Although the interaction between ischemic time and treatment in relation to the binary outcome of the presence of any MVO did not reach statistical significance (odds ratio [OR]: 1.84; 95% CI: 1.04 to 3.24; p = 0.036; interaction p = 0.076), there was a trend toward a higher prevalence with increasing dose in patients presenting ≥4 to 6 h ( Table 2 ), but no evidence of a treatment effect with shorter ischemic times.
Through logistic analyses, we found that the association between serum lipid levels and the ORR did not reach statistical significance (Supplementary Table 1), but we found that LDL-C and non-HDL-C were reliable predictors of the DCR (HR: 16.309, 95% CI:1.207–220.326, p = 0.036; HR:34.484, 95% CI: 1.840–646.378, p = 0.018) (Supplementary Table 2).

Results There was a slight trend (despite did not reach statistical significance) of the EG group (which have a significantly [ P =0.0369] higher mean [8.8±7.6] of military service time [in years] when compared to NG group [5.8±6.0]) presenting higher values of anxiety-trait (+5.0%) and depression (+16.0%) and lower levels of leisure time HPA (–3.7%) than NG group.
