Although there was no statistically significant difference between FAQ, LIST, or CONTROL groups on readiness to act on colorectal cancer risk at study end, a difference approaching significance ( P =.06) suggests the need for further research.

There was a post-intervention level change of 2.7 fewer OMEs prescribed which was approaching significance ( p =0.06), followed by a post-intervention monthly reduction of 0.07 OMEs ( p =0.01) (Fig. 1 c).

Although only approaching significance, cases had higher odds of hospital admission in the prior 90 days (OR, 2.80; 95% CI, 0.94–8.32; P = .06).

Although a significant effect of treatment was observed on object recognition performance ( F = 10.32, p = 0.02), no significant group differences were observed by post hoc analysis, with the effect of obesity combined with Aβ infusion approaching significance ( p = 0.06; Fig. 7b ).

As expected, the number of blood glucose readings was inversely correlated to age (r = −0.400, p = 0.019, data are not shown), and also the difference in blood glucose readings performed during the lockdown and the period before the lockdown was inversely correlated to the frequency of testing prior to lockdown period with a correlation that was approaching significance (r = −0.326, p = 0.060, data are not shown).

There was a difference approaching significance ( p = 0.06) in favour of AE for lower extremity lean soft tissue mass (Table 3 ).

The total rate of stage changes increased moderately from 14.2 ± 3.9 to 17.6 ± 4.3 per hour of TIB, approaching significance ( p = 0.06) (Table 2 ). 3.5 REM Sleep Analysis The total number of completed REM periods (see Methods ) was 158 in the young and 154 in the older participants (3.5 ± 0.6 vs. 3.4 ± 0.9 REM periods per night).

However, we deem this prospect unlikely due to the subtle visual differences between ‘eyes open’ and ‘eyes closed’ conditions, and the reported lack of difference between the ‘eyes open’ and ‘half looking’ conditions, as well as the ‘eyes closed’ and ‘not looking’ conditions (although the later relationship was approaching significance ( p = 0.06 ) and would likely be significant in a more powered study).

Compared with single exposure to UP alone, combined exposure to UP+2d LPS increased the wall-to-lumen ratio with approaching significance (p = 0.06).

Learners nonetheless reported about 15% more focus at T2 ( M = 74.1; SD = 15.2) than at T1 ( M = 64.2; SD = 13.7), and a Wilcoxon signed-rank test shows this difference approaching significance, T = 115.5, z = 1.850, p = .06.

Notably, scores for this subgroup were higher overall in the HOT compared to the CONTROL trial (main effect for trial approaching significance; p = 0.06), with moderate to large ES found between trials at baseline, 60, 90 and 120 min ( d = 0.83 [-0.17, 1.75] to 1.81 [0.64, 2.81]).

By copy number, the relationship between tetracycline in bone and qnrS was approaching significance ( P = 0.06); positive specimens were found with higher copy number (3.23E −12 copy number/16S rRNA copy number, 1.09E −21 –7.71E −11 ) for qnrS than negative (1.46E −12 copy number/16S rRNA copy number, 7.85E −23 –5.76E −11 ) specimens.

For instance, cultural intelligence was approaching significance in year 1 from pre-test to follow-up (mean difference = 0.23, p = .06) and was significant in year 2 from pre-test to follow-up (mean difference = 0.46, p = .006), indicating that there was a trend of improvement in this measure.

Regarding emotion regulation, the moderation analysis for brooding rumination and PTSD symptoms was approaching significance, R 2 change = 0.01, F (1,199) = 3.56, p = 0.06.

Finally, in a population of basal-like (PAM50 molecular classifier) breast cancer patients (60 to 90% TNBC molecular subtype) 13 , 14 , we discovered that elevated EPHA2 mRNA expression (above the median value) within patients’ tumors was significantly associated with shorter disease-free survival (DFS) (P = 0.01; Figure 2E ; hazard ratio = 1.45 [1.08 – 1.94]), and shorter overall survival (OS) which, while approaching significance, is in line with our DFS findings (P = 0.06; Supplementary Figure S2 ; hazard ratio = 1.563 (0.9712 −2.515).

Icterus on examination was more frequent in malignant lesions (25.0%) than benign lesions (7.1%), approaching significance but not meeting the cut-off (p=0.06), suggesting a possible trend toward greater biliary obstruction or advanced disease in malignant cases.

However, it is worth noting that self-reported TST was approaching significance in favour of the intervention group ( p = 0.06).

The content of complex IV followed the same pattern in which old mice showed lower content than young mice, with the difference between the young and PS groups only approaching significance ( P = 0.06).

Living with children aged between 12 and 17 vs living alone during the first lockdown was associated with an increase in symptoms of anxiety at 12-months follow-up (ß = − 4.50, 95% CI = 1.13 to 7.88) (model approaching significance at p = 0.060).

The independent-samples t -tests showed a difference in inhibition time between the two groups, approaching significance at T1, t (36) = −1.91, p = 0.06, Cohen’s d = 0.62.
