When these findings are considered alongside results from the multi-ethnic STAR*D cohort, also including participants with MDD, in which no significant associations were observed in Caucasian or African American participants, but a suggestive trend was present in Latinos ( 37 ), the overall pattern is consistent with a population-specific modulation of antidepressant response rather than a universal pharmacogenetic effect.
In contrast, specificity was high, reaching 95.8% (95% CI 78.9%‒99.9%) in the total sample, and 100.0% in both the Gilbert and control groups, a suggestive trend that the CNN may be effective in correctly classifying non-dense breasts, though the preliminary nature of these results still necessitates further validation with larger cohorts.
On the other hand, there was a suggestive trend indicating that patients with high methylation levels of NKX6-1 might have an increased risk of developing MGL compared to those with lower methylation levels ( p = 0.062, Fig. 3 B), corresponding to a 1.7-fold increase in risk (HR = 1.73, 95% CI 0.80–3.75, p = 0.162, Table 2 ), which reached statistical significance considering the optimal cutoff value ( p = 0.021, Fig. 3 C, aHR = 2.01, 95% CI 0.93–4.33, p = 0.074, Table 2 ).
Some other prospective cohort study showed a suggestive trend of reduced glaucoma risk with higher intake of folate (vitamin B-9) i.e., compared with the lowest quintile of cumulatively averaged total folate intake, the MVRR of exfoliation glaucoma or glaucoma suspect for the highest quintile (Q5; ≥ 654 μg/day) was 0.75 (95% Confidence Interval [CI]: 0.54–1.04; p for linear trend = 0.02) ( 17 ).

Meta-analyses have found that cemented stems are associated with significantly fewer intra- and postoperative periprosthetic fractures compared to cementless options. 3 Registry data support a 59% relative risk reduction with cemented stems. 4 In our study, we observed a clear inverse trend between preoperative YAM and intraoperative fracture risk, especially in underweight patients (BMI < 18.5 kg/m 2 ), with a suggestive trend despite not reaching statistical significance.
In those who did, there was a suggestive trend for median OS to be longer in patients expressing higher levels of PD-L1; however, there was a borderline statistically significant difference in PFS curves according to the duration of index nivolumab treatment (p = 0.046).
