A comprehensive patient-level meta-analysis of three randomized controlled trials demonstrated that lenalidomide maintenance therapy following auto-HSCT in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma not only significantly prolonged progression-free survival but also conferred a clinically meaningful overall survival benefit, reducing the risk of death by 25% compared to placebo or observation, with a favorable trend also observed in earlier analyses ( 30 ).
Discussion Based on the results of this systematic review analyzing the effects of BFR intervention and different exercise methodologies, it appears that there is a favorable trend of BFR intervention in the short-term for each of the aforementioned variables despite the great heterogeneity of the population groups.
