The score of Factor 6 did not show a clear trend across the six seasons (0.03 vs. 0.13, p = 0.182, ES = 0.16)..
There was also a clear trend between LWM and L ( p = 0.183/ p = 0.4), but no significant difference.
Regarding the presence of fetal sinuses, we compared median EBL with persistent sinuses via the Mann-Whitney U test and did not find a statistically significant difference, although there was a clear trend with 1,250 cc in cases with persistent fetal drainage versus 800 cc in cases without ( P = 0.184; Table 8 ).

Although PAFR expression did not reach statistical significance in either model, it showed a clear trend toward association with both MASLD (OR = 9.85, p = 0.197) and MASH (OR = 2.83, p = 0.068), supporting its potential role in disease progression (Table 2 ). 3.3 Hepatic Relative mRNA Expression of PAFR in Relation to Histological Features To further investigate the relationship between hepatic PAFR expression and histological characteristics of MASLD, we analyzed its expression across different grades of steatosis, lobular inflammation, hepatocellular ballooning, and NAS (Figure 3A ).
Although not significant there was a clear trend in the association between HHV-6A and HHV-6B [OR: 5.04 (0.53–247.07); P = 0.20, Figure 1C ], the lack of significance was probably due to the very low incidence of HHV-6B reactivation.
Although significance was still not reached, the result revealed a clear trend toward inferior DFS among patients with elevated RPMB levels (HR = 1.585, 95% Cl: 0.781–3.215, p = 0.2, Figure 4C ).
