A linear mixed-effects model with stimulation rate and pulse shape (rampUp and rampDown) as fixed factors and subject as random factor reported a highly significant effect of rate ( F (1,117) = 478.44, p < .0001) but not of shape ( F (1,117) = 0.05, p = .8154) or the interaction between rate and shape ( F (1,117) = 0.03, p = .8559) on the angle.
Publication bias As demonstrated by funnel plot asymmetry, a highly significant publication bias was observed in our study using Egger’s test ( t = 4.12, P = 0.0001) and Begg’s test ( P = 0.001) (Fig. 5 A, B).

A Student t-test showed extremely significant differences between both surfaces ( p < 0.0001; see Figure 7 B), which allows us to conclude that Tz-BSA-coated plates combined with modified-TCO capture antibody greatly improve the ELISA sensitivity. 4.
Retinal sensitivity showed highly significant improvements in the fovea ( p < 0.0001), inferior quadrant ( p < 0.0001), nasal quadrant ( p < 0.0001), and temporal quadrant ( p = 0.0003), while the superior quadrant failed to sustain statistically significant improvement at 1 month ( p = 0.1216).
