Conversely, the variety has a very highly significant effect ( p = 9 × 10 −13 ) on the intercepts of these relationships.
There was a significant trend of positive correlation between the risk score and the angiogenesis activity score (R = 0.32, p = 9.5e−13) (Fig. 7 J).
The genotypes (RIL and accession) had a highly significant effect in both populations ( P -values ≤ 9.92e−13).
The direct comparison of all 1-kb regions reveals that this higher B in the X chromosome relative to autosomes is highly significant (Mann-Whitney U Test, P <1×10 −12 for complete and trimmed chromosomes), with all BGS models generating the same trend and level of significance.
The TPT main effect was highly significant regardless of the data set used (full data set: F 10,370 = 37.6, p<1×10 −12 ; limited data set: F 10,370 = 30.7, p<1×10 −12 ), clearly indicating the significance of the online compensatory adjustments of F1 in response to the AF perturbations when the data were collapsed across the two groups of subjects.
In our HSA14 simulations, the presence of heterochromatin slightly reduces the absolute value of the correlation, which however remains highly significant (Spearman correlation r ≃ −0.83, p < 10 −12 ).
Of the 119 genes that were both represented in the MCF-7 dataset and increased in EGFR -mutant NSCLC cells, 44 (31%) were increased with P <0.05 in EGFR -transfected MCF-7 cells, which represented a highly significant overlap ( P <1E–12, one-sided Fisher's exact test, Fig. 2 E ).
A linear regression of the first principal component (PC1, explaining 20% of the functional variance) and the relative abundance of the Bacteroidetes showed a highly significant correlation (R 2 =0.96, p<10 −12 ; Fig. 2B ).
The survival difference is highly significant (log-rank p < 10 −12 , hazard ratio = 1.72, 95% CI: 1.58–1.89), annotated in the upper right of the panel.
To test this more formally, we assessed baseline pupil size in our a priori baseline time window −1 to 0 s and found a highly significant difference in pupil size preceding certain vs. uncertain choices ( β C > 0 , t = 6.9 , p ~ 10 − 12 , CI = 0.03 , 0.05 ) (Figure 2A , inset bar plots).
When we applied Fisher's exact test to gene sets identified by the different approaches ( Supplemental Figure S3A–C ), we always found highly significant overlap (more genes in common than expected by chance) between the SB Driver Analysis and GKC analysis methods ( P < 10 −12 ).
The enrichment of NO‐related genes in the differentially expressed genes was statistically extremely significant (chi‐squared test, P < 10 −12 ).
Notably, a highly significant enrichment of RGAC motifs at NKAP-binding footprints (CIMS or CITS along with a 5-nucleotide flanking sequence) was identified by iCLIP-sequencing ( P < 10 −12 , Wilcoxon rank-sum test, Fig. 5g ), suggesting that NKAP preferentially binds the m 6 A core motif RGAC.
The general lack of diagnostic specificity is also apparent in the Spearman's rank correlations (Table 4 and Supporting Information Tables 2 and 3), as for each pair of diagnoses, correlation coefficients across regions ranged between 0.42 and 0.82 and were highly significant (0.001 < P < 10 −12 ).
9B ) shows functions related to “Cellular Movement, Hematological System Development and Function, Immune cell trafficking and cell-mediated immune response”, with a highly significant score of 12 (p = 10 −12 ) (Fig. 9 ).
We also found a highly significant main effect of cluster ( F (6, 247.48) = 237.58, p < 10 −12 ), showing that different neural clusters had distinctive baseline activity levels.
Furthermore, analyzing the sample similarity based on these cluster frequencies resulted in highly significant grouping of samples with the same diagnosis ( P < 10 −12 ; Fig. 3E ).
The difference in substitution scores between core and surface region is highly significant for both SVD and CSM ( P <1.0 −12 ) and significant for SVP ( P <1.0 −4 ), whereas it is not significant for SAP ( P <0.78).
The Chi-Square test showed a highly significant correlation of all tests with the latent class (p < 10 12 or lower).
Pearson correlations with PC[1] scores were highly significant ( P < 10 −12 ) for height ( R , 0.65), yield ( R , 0.56) and growth rate ( R , 0.62).
The overrepresentation of mutations in subtelomeric regions is highly significant in O. tauri (10 vs. 94 mutations in subtelomeric versus nonsubtelomeric regions, Fisher exact test, P -value <10 −12 ), B. prasinos (8 vs. 24 mutations, Fisher exact test, P -value <10 −12 ) and M. pusilla (4 vs. 81 mutations, Fisher exact test, P -value <10 −4 ).
Gene pathways up-regulated by age in all three tissues were complement genes, apoptosis and interferon gamma response pathway genes, albeit this upregulation was highly significant (hypergeometric test, p < 10 −12 – 10 −20 ) in the old kidney and less significant in the old liver and skeletal muscle ( Figure 2 ).
Results The differences in the distribution of SE between the wake and N2, and wake and N3 were highly significant ( p < 10 − 12 for both comparisons), whereas the difference between the wake and REM states was not ( p = 0.12 ).
