In contrast, under low transparency conditions, the difference in anxiety between the high AI group (M = 15.11, SD = 2.28) and the low AI group (M = 17.17, SD = 2.36) was smaller and only marginally significant (t = 2.13, p = 0.035, Cohen’s d = 0.47).
There was no evidence of a difference between the group means but there was a marginally significant difference between the means at 2 h ( p = 0.036) and at 3 h ( p = 0.041) when each was compared to the baseline mean.
From the Type 2 Diabetes Knowledge Portal ( http://www.type2diabetesgenetics.org/ , searched on 3.26.2018), we found that nominally significant associations between rs2296966 and risk of DM were observed in three previous studies, including BioMe AMP T2D GWAS (OR = 0.838, p = 0.036), GWAS SIGMA (OR = 1.13, p = 0.0232), and GoT2D WGS (OR = 1.25, p = 0.0483), from different populations.
In this population, a marginally significant association of rs2014408 with HT was observed (over-dominant, OR = 0.68, 95% CI: 0.48–0.98, p = 0.036, Table 4 ).
M1-M2 “C-C” haplotype was absent in the probands and stratified analysis showed a marginally significant difference for the male individuals (χ 2 = 4.37, P = 0.036) as opposed to male controls.
Second, with respect to diarrhea severity, the observed difference in the Shannon index between the G0–G1 and G2–G3 groups was borderline significant ( p = 0.0367).
The percentage of fluorescently stained cells exhibited a slightly significant increase between the ER+ , PR+ , HER2− and ER+ , PR−, HER2− groups ( p = 0.0369) (Supplementary data 7).
1b , 2c,d ) and there was a weaker positive correlation with rainfall in the same month that was marginally non-significant (p = 0.037; Figs. 1b , 2e,f ).These two environmental variables were not collinear (r = −0.096, p = 0.745), so both were included in a linear model with the juvenile chronology.
Similarly, for Monkey B, duration (coefficient estimate = − 0.214, standard error = 0.219, t = − 0.976, p = 0.350) did not significantly predict slope, though velocity showed a marginally significant effect (coefficient estimate = − 0.005, standard error = 0.002, t = − 2.370, p = 0.037).
Interestingly, two SNPs were also nominally significant (rs929626 with P = 0.037 and rs17543752 with P = 0.05) in the same direction as in the GWAS (Table 1 ) .
One of the four subsets, the lipid biosynthesis and transport-related genes, demonstrated nominally significant enrichment of association to schizophrenia (p = 0.037), but this signal did not survive correction for multiple testing (FWER = 0.16).
Meta-regression analysis of the association between telomere length and depression Table 2 showed a highly significant linear relationship between the mean age of study participants and the effect size (B = 0.0101, 95% CI 0.0006 to 0.00156, p = 0.037).
However, the relationship between MoCA scores with Maze 2 ITI (R 2 = 0.142, p = 0.064) were near significance and with Maze 3 ITI (R 2 = 0.176, p = 0.037) were significant based on unadjusted results (Supplementary Table S4 ).
The paired t-test (α = 0.025) indicated that there was a marginally significant increase in the extent of gingival display after the extraction treatment ( P = 0.0371, Table 1 ; Figs. 2 and 3 ).
This value was significantly different from that of patients without MVI (3.6 ± 1.5/100,000), but the difference was not as highly significant as that obtained using flow cytometry ( Supplementary Figure S4 and Fig. 3d ; P = 0.0377).
The main effect of message type on perceived attitude change showed slight significance (positive: F(2,477) = 3.29, p = 0.0379, η p 2 = 0.014; negative: F(2,477) = 3.80, p = 0.0231, η p 2 = 0.016).
