Pearling had no significant effect on macronutrient contents in the processed seed, but it resulted in a very highly significant difference for most of them in the bran except for Mg and S.
Excerpts
Indeed, this functional trait showed a trend to higher values (albeit not statistically significant) for ‘Frantoio’ and ‘Empeltre’ plants (VWO tolerant) compared with the other cultivars except for ‘Hojiblanca’ (all qualified as VWO susceptible).
The association between EGFR and KNAR was also highly significant, with the correlation being somewhat higher than that of their respective durations.
An increasing trend in tail moment was visible for all types of particles tested, the trend being lowest for AgNPs of bigger size.
The GST activity also showed a decreasing trend in R, although the differences were not significant ( p > 0.05) ( Figure 4 ).
LL had a mostly constant expression level during all the sampling events and increased slightly in December, whereas NH had a decreasing trend from July to January ( Figure 5 ).
It is an oilseed in high demand proving an increasing trend by fulfilling demand and supply with desired qualitative traits.
Fruit Weight Stress application at flowering and pod formation stage follows a decreasing trend for all pepper genotypes’ fresh and dry fruit weights except PPE-311 showing a slight increase in dry weight under DF.
However, the crop season-wise differences for almost all the forage quality parameters were highly significant due to contrasting patterns of precipitation in 2018 and 2019, coupled with temperature differences during post-flowering growth stages.
July and August PDSI of the previous year were also marginally significant covariates.
An interesting trend is observed for total indolic and aliphatic glucosinolates calculated based on HPLC-DAD analysis.

For sinigrin, there is a clear trend of increase by lowering the temperature.
A highly significant correlation was recorded in our research with mushrooms in Moscow region (Russia) ( Figure 2 ).
A decreasing trend was also shown in presence of both metals, with a final Chl a concentration of 0.230 ± 0.029 μg mL −1 ( Figure 1 b).
The presence of highly significant correlations among different plant cultivar traits indicated dependency of one character on other, and there was a negative correlation of number of branches/plant with plant height and leaf size in another report [ 23 ].
PC3, mainly affected by flowering traits, were highly significant among events and TS trees were significantly different from both TS and C groups ( p < 0.001).
Seed yields of this group showed a trend of opu-CAN > o-CAN > CAN with opu-CAN up to 18% higher in comparison to the uncoated CAN.
This relationship is quite significant, being correlated to the photosynthetic efficiency and biomass production in plants [ 40 , 41 , 42 ].
In the reference creek, the fringe site had an overall increase of 1.50 kg-C m −2 carbon stored at the site as a result of an almost insignificant change in belowground carbon (7.32 to 7.21 kg-C m −2 ), but an increase in aboveground carbon (5.89 to 7.51 kg-C m −2 ).
[ 54 ] observed a decreasing trend in growth parameters of cvs.
Changes in the indol-3-ylmethyl GS content in the “Clapton” leaves were not significant, but an increasing trend was found at all foliar treatment concentrations ( Figure 2 G).
Expression levels observed by RNAseq and QRT-PCR were well in accordance, as confirmed by the highly significant linear regression between the two series of data emerging from the comparison across seven gene transcripts, two DNA treatments and three observation time points ( Figure S1 , Pearson’s r = 0.814, P = 1.73 × 10 −10 ). 2.8.

Interestingly, although a higher number of DEGs is reported in nonself-DNA treatment, an exclusive GO enrichment (from downregulated genes) is evident in the self-DNA treatment, hence depicting a clear trend in the self-DNA response at 8 hpt ( Figure 4 ).
In 2015, highly significant differences were observed between the study conditions DS and NS, for GY, NP, SW, PH, and NDF ( Table 2 ).
Although the main effect of soil type was marginally significant, post-hoc tests suggest that seedlings grown in soil types A (71.9 mm), B (72.9 mm), C (73.5 mm), and D (73.9 mm) were significantly taller than those in soil F (66.6 mm) ( Figure 6 b).
