With regard to the angle effect, the amplitude had a negative trend as the angular disparity from the upright position increased (see Figs 3 & 4 ).
With regard to the angle effect, the amplitude had a negative trend as the angular disparity from the upright position increased (see Figs 3 & 4 ).
Analysis of the correlation between ERG and TMPRSS2:ERG expression ( Fig 3b ) revealed that there was a strong trend between the two genes (R 2 = 0.826) consistent with urinary cell and tissue data suggesting that the most common fusion (TMPRSS2 (exon 1) with ERG (exon 4)) may give rise to increased ERG expression [ 12 , 18 ].
However, the bias may be significant but not sufficiently large so, in addition, we measured the proportion of obtained essential genes with a negative Aquilles-based score in each scenario, a point where the probability of the gene being essential is higher than being non-essential.
In case of H3K9 acetylation, there was an overall increase after 72 h treatments in MDA-MB-157 cells, which was highly significant when compared to single-dose of compounds, DMSO and 48 h of treatments ( Fig 3b ).
At this condition, an interesting trend emerged with the former group presenting declines on F v / F m values, while the latter species showed higher F v / F m values.
We found a decreasing trend in expression of BtA1VgR with increase in concentration of siRNA.
Discussion In this phase 2 tuberculosis clinical trial, an investigational intensive phase regimen comprised of daily low-dose rifapentine plus moxifloxacin in addition to isoniazid and pyrazinamide was not less bactericidal than the control regimen as assessed using sputum culture-based surrogate endpoints, and there was a possible trend towards superiority of the investigational regimen when MGIT liquid medium was used for endpoint measurement.
Trends for BMI, WC, SBP, DBP, blood glucose, and HbA1c in Lao Loum females across age groups were mostly highly significant.
For example, in the mound phytolith profile in Site 1, panicoid grasses showed a decreasing trend toward the surface and in the mound phytolith profile in Site 2, they fluctuated with no clear increasing trend.
In Sites 1 and 2, although grasses of this taxon were 2–15 times more abundant on mounds than in inter-mound basins, depending on site and season, no marked difference was apparent in the representation of phytolith morphotypes characteristic of panicoids in surface soils between these two habitats in either site ( Fig 4 ).
Multivariate M gradient did not show a positive trend in the HomL M group of the Male Experiment (where large males were exposed to large females; see Fig 5A , Table 2 , S6 Fig ).
Multivariate P gradients were highly significant in all social environment manipulations except HomS F ( Table 2 ).
Nevertheless, the relationship between walking in phase coherence and motivational scores was only marginally significant.
Thus, for both types of sewage sludge, OM, CEC and SB, increased with the increase in dosage of the amendment, but K, pH and V showed a negative trend with the increase in the dosage (Figs 1 – 3 ).
Interestingly, a chronic pain diagnosis was associated decreased odds of having an adenoma and an advanced adenoma, while opioid use was associated a borderline significant increase in the odds of having an adenoma and an advanced adenoma.
Importantly, the frequency of the mutant T allele in patients with β-TM was strongly associated with Hhcy with an estimated OR of 7.7 (95% CI: 2.8–20.9), whereas no significant association was noticed with CT genotype indicating an increasing trend to the incidence of Hhcy with TT genotype in patients with β-TM ( Table 4 ).
The majority of significant linear changes in emotional intolerance as well as AN symptoms can be observed in the HSS group, where each patient displays a significant trend in at least two of the variables.
As a continual variable, a positive association of borderline significance was observed for Sn in the single-metal model.
Our diversity analysis revealed a decreasing trend from 2-year-old to 6-year-old samples which supported the hypothesis that bacterial diversity would decrease over longer cultivation periods.
It is possible that the eight local names given by fishers for fishes no longer caught that could not be found in field guides may be significant in this regard.
Women were also found to exhibit enhanced neural processing of complex social scenes in comparison to nonsocial scenes, whereas men showed a trend for the opposite phenomenon [ 26 , 27 ].
Although a highly significant nested subset pattern was detected, it was not related to the ranking of the area of forest fragments or isolation.
Recent sibling birth reached a borderline level of statistical significance [OR 1.79(95% CI; 0.98–3.28)]( Table 1 ).
A previous study that investigated the areas under the concentration-time curve for plasma INH 12 hours after dosing found a highly significant association with the NAT-2 genotype [ 35 ].
A proportional increase in the use of self-injurious methods in self-harm was highly significant, more specifically in the use of hanging, jumping from heights and the use of other violent methods such as the use of firearms, jumping before a moving object or other traffic related injury.
