Paired samples t-tests showed that controls had greater alpha power in the right compared to the left hemisphere (t 20 = 2.45, p = .024 ), whereas patients showed a trend for greater alpha power in the left vs. right hemisphere (t 20 = −1.9, p = .07) ( Figure 2C , left panel).
At an above-average income, fWHR was a marginally significant predictor of Machiavellianism, β = −.36, p = .07. fWHR was not a significant predictor of narcissism, β = .04, p = .71.
Coagulation biomarkers and VTE incidence In the total patient population, baseline TF was associated with VTE incidence with borderline significance (HR 2.8; P = 0.07).
For the sample included in the free recall task, the groups presented a significant difference on age, F (3, 64) = 3.81, p = .014, η p 2 = .15, with simulators significantly younger than DID participants ( p = .03) and partial information comparisons ( p = .04), and trending towards significance when compared with full information comparisons ( p = .07).
In addition, the subjects with AG genotype also showed a trend of longer PR interval than the subjects with AA genotype (AG vs, AA = 164.9±26.5 vs. 154.1±18.2 ms, P = 0.07) ( Table 4 ).
Veterans decreased in perceived structure from the military to their first civilian job ( p = 0.03) whereas civilian students non-significantly increased in their perceived structure from their education to their first post-graduation job ( p = 0.29), resulting in a marginally significant veteran status by context interaction, F (1, 178) = 3.27, p = 0.07, η 2 = 0.01 (see Study 1 Supplemental Analysis in supplemental materials for full results).
Postmenopausal women showed borderline significant differences in naïve: memory CD4+ T-cell ratio (1.06 (0.44–1.41) vs. 1.31 (0.97–1.78), p = 0.07) and had a significantly lower naïve: memory CD8+ T-cell ratio (0.64 (0.32–1.04) vs. 1.27 (0.78–2.11), p = 0.03) compared to premenopausal women ( Fig 1E ).
The analysis by Duncan’s test showed that animals in 3 rd month of life showed a trend increase in the Avoidance 1 (p = 0.070) compared to animals in 1 st month.
Post-hoc paired-samples t -tests for each age group indicated that there was a significant difference in local efficiency from rest to 2-back for young participants, t (13) = 4.22, p = .001, Cohen’s d = 1.13, and a marginally significant difference for older participants, t (14) = 1.96, p = .070, Cohen’s d = 0.51.
However, the effect of race on mean telomere length approached significance, 0.97 ± 0.01 in Caucasian and 1.00 ± 0.01 T/S in African-American women, p = 0.07.
Consistent with these findings dsAaMC1-injected mosquitoes had a significantly higher median number of oocysts when infected with Plasmodium gallinaceum ( P <0.007, Mann-Whitney Test)( Figure S2 ); the difference in the oocyst distributions was marginally significant ( P <0.07, KS Test) and the prevalence of infection increased significantly from 63% to 80% ( P <0.008, Chi-square Test).
When this AMF was excluded from the analysis, a comparable marginally significant effect of shoot P GCA on 14 C:*P (F 1,15.4 = 3.9, P = 0.07) was found in species pool 2.
Total production of melatonin during waking hours, calculated as AUC, approached but did not reach significance when correlated to total MADRS-S (ρ = -0.18, p = 0.07).
However, despite the loss of the ica operon by the ST71-like isolates there was no significant difference between typical CC97 isolates and ST71-like isolates in their ability to form a biofilm in TSB (P = 0.88) or TSB + 4% NaCl (P = 1) while the difference in TSB + 1% glucose approached significance (P = 0.07).
