When stratified by year, a moderate increase was observed in the expected heterozygosity from H E = 0.5 in 2010 to 0.56 in 2011 and 0.60 in 2012, although this did not reach statistical significance ( P <0.05).
Excerpts
After parental time with the child was added to model 2, its overall explanatory power had been increased to 2.2% ( p > 0.05), parental time with the child had a borderline significant impact on PCDI- comprehension ( β = 0.094, p = 0.05).
The spatial distributions of conflict incidences show variation among sampled study sites, where areas including Bedessa, Dhidhessa, and Arjo Dhidhessa Sugar Factory had the highest incidence of crop damage, while Hinne and Hara had the least, and the differences are highly significant (X 2 = 32.57, df = 20, p<0.05) ( Fig 2 ).
There was also a statistical trend between urgency and EV on percentage bets (F (2,26) = 3.0, p = 0.05).
Correlations between specific students’ achievement and matching intrinsic motivation were positive and statistically significant for mathematics and reading (.17, and .25 respectively), but nearly significant for science (.15, p < .05).
Moreover, a borderline significant increase in favorable neurological outcome was observed for Pol-AED care (Pol-AED: 77.8% vs. non-Pol-AED: 74.0%; p = 0.050) (see Table 2 ).
rubrum cells compared to untreated control; however, after irradiation with blue light, there was a significant trend towards increased apoptosis (p<0.05, Fig. 4C ).
The correlation between the two ratings was highly significant (Pearson R = 0.731, p<0.05).
Power to detect nominally significant evidence ( P ≤ 0.05) was low for all variants: 8%, for p.Val154Ile, 22% for p.Asp187His and 27% for p.Arg421Cys.
Differences in salinity among sites were only marginally significant (Kruskal-Wallis, p = 0.05); however, salinity at all sites was significantly different among sampling dates (Kruskal-Wallis, p<0.01) as the July sampling had a significantly higher average salinity (29.2 ppt) than the August sampling (19.7 ppt; Dunn’s test with Bonferroni correction, p<0.01).
For our replication of previously reported GWAS SNPs (identified mainly in populations of European ancestry) in our multi-ethnic population, we defined nominally significant as ‘p<0.05 and not corrected for multiple testing.’ Given the different recruitment and BP measurement in the Mt.
The chi-square test was marginally significant, χ 2 (2) = 5.87, p = .05.
of marginal significancep>0.05
In females a smaller reduction of 12% was of marginal significance (p>0.05; Figures 3A and B ).
showed a trendP <0.05
Although there were no significant ( P <0.05, Bonferroni correction) differences in the FNCs of the NC and aMCI patients or the MCI and AD patients, AD patients showed a trend toward decreased ( P <0.05, uncorrected) FNC between the aDMN and pDMN compared to the aMCI patients.
88.8%), but the difference was only at the margin of statistical significance (p = 0.05, HR = 0.44, 95% CI = 0.19–1.02) ( Table 5 ).
However, the analysis identified let-7p-5p, miR-98-5p and miR-183-5p with a highly significant differentiation in their expression profile ( p <0.05, following the application of the Benjamini-Hochberg multiple testing adjustment method) between the control group (patients with schizophrenia but without tumour formation) and both study groups (patients with/without schizophrenia, but with tumour formation).
Neither latitude (YCG) nor longitude (XCG) of northern shrimp distribution within the entire GOM showed a significant trend (linear regression, P>0.05, Fig 5 , data in S4 Fig ).
From the perspective of adherence to DTM practices, low adherence to restrictions on housework and social activities was significantly associated with an increasing trend in PPD (p<0.05), while low to moderate DTM adherence was significantly associated with an increasing trend in EPDS scores (p<0.05) [ 77 ].
Nominally significant association (P<0.05) was observed for markers in: TCF7L2, RBMS1, CDKAL1, ZNF239, KCNQ1 and TCF1 and a significant bias (P<0.05) towards OR>1 was observed for markers selected from previous T2D genome-wide association studies, consistent with a role for Old World variants in susceptibility to T2D in Latin Americans.
The all-cause mortality were more highly significant than other combinations ( P <0.05) when the following combinations exist: “elevated blood pressure”, “elevated fasting plasma glucose + low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol”, “elevated blood pressure + elevated triglyceride + elevated fasting plasma glucose”, “elevated fasting plasma glucose + low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol + elevated blood pressure + elevated triglyceride”.
The decompensated cirrhosis group scored lower in all domains than the compensated cirrhosis group, but all of the differences did not reach statistical significance except for the SS domain and the overall score (p<0.05).
Four of them (arachidonic acid metabolism, steroid hormone biosynthesis, one carbon pool by folate, folate biosynthesis) are discovered as highly significant (merged p < 0.05, Table 3 ).
This association was borderline significant after adjustment (adjusted OR: 3.73; 95% CI: 0.97–14.35; p = 0.05).
We next mapped the nominally significant genes ( P < 0.05) calculated by VEGAS to the reference network.
The three way interaction between job type, sex of face and image type was marginally insignificant (F(1, 118) = 3.91, p = 0.05, η p 2 = .03), which is not surprising given the reduced power of three-way interaction effects [ 29 ].
