Intake of animal food sources such as “meat and poultry”, “eggs”, “fish and shellfish”, and “milk and dairy products” increased significantly before adjusting for gender, age, and energy intake (unadjusted p -value for trend <0.001, “milk and dairy products” were not significant before adjusting.), and showed a decreasing trend after adjustment for gender, age, and energy intake (adjusted p -value for trend <0.01).
Excerpts
In this present study, the LHS group (sarcopenic group with maximum handgrip strength below baseline) showed a trend of approx. 23 percent point decrease in plant protein intake from Q1 (45.8%) to Q5 (22.7%).
“Seasonings” and “beverages”, which are a mixture of animal and plant foods, showed an increasing trend from Q1 to Q5 like the plant food group (unadjusted p for trend < 0.001, adjusted p for trend < 0.05).
a clear trendgold
Discussion: A clear trend emerged, indicating a direct association between environmental sustainability, positive health outcomes, and adherence to the MedD.
The iodine factor may be significant for Turkey, as a study published in 2021 stated that 19% of Turkish lactating mothers are hypothyroid, attributable to iodine deficiency [ 20 ].
Multivariate analysis showed that, with the exception for sperm volume, highly significant differences in sperm parameters were observed across the three categories of adherence to MD, with increasing mean values of sperm concentration, total sperm count, progressive motility, sperm viability, and the percentage of sperm with typical morphology along with the adherence to MD (all p -values < 0.001, Figure 1 A).

However, there was a slight trend towards increased ALOX5 expression when fibroblasts were treated with AA alone or a combination of both AA and IL-1β compared to when they were treated with vehicle or IL-1β alone.
An interesting trend emerged within the data: adolescents involved in individual sports tended to use more supplements, particularly creatine, compared to their counterparts in team sports.
The statistical analysis yielded a Mann-Whitney U value of 8.86 and a p -value of 0.001, confirming a highly significant difference between the two groups.
However, the effect of lower FEV 1 was only marginally significant for the lower extremity strength and 6 MWT and remained undetectable in the other outcomes.
As shown in Figure 1 B, the body weight of the model mice showed a decreasing trend, while those of the other two groups, namely the SCEP group and the control group, showed increasing trends.
Among the males, a decreasing trend in the predicted probability of elevated AST levels was observed, beginning at a KHEI score of approximately 60, with a similar decreasing trend for elevated ALT levels noted from a score of approximately 70.
Differences with p -values of ≤0.05 and ≤0.01 were regarded as statistically significant and highly significant, respectively. 3.
Moreover, LA-1 supplementation resulted in reduced levels of total TC, TG, LDL-C, and GLU in both serum and liver tissues, while the HDL-C level showed an increasing trend.
Furthermore, while the predictive interaction between Faecalibacterium and total body weight loss (kg) and BMI reduction was also tested, these interactions were only marginally significant, with p -values of 0.10 and 0.08, respectively. 4.
a positive trendgold
Sweets intake (DI_sweets) showed a positive trend toward higher distress, but did not reach statistical significance (OR = 1.33, 95% CI: 0.99–1.80, p = 0.064).

The authors note that the nature of these relationships is complicated by a clear trend of reverse causality between diet and mental health.
Although no main effect was found for the product factor, the presence of an almost significant interaction between product and match week, combined with the descriptively progressive increase observed in the NIT + CM group, may point to a more favorable adjustment in this group over time.
In contrast, the case–cohort European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC)—InterAct study (a multi-center, prospective, cohort study of 519,978 participants from 8 European countries aimed at investigating the relationship of environmental factors, food habits and lifestyle with cancer and other chronic diseases), including 12,403 incident T2D cases and a random subcohort of 16,835 subjects, did not reveal significant effect modifications of TCF7L2 variants in the association between cereal fiber and T2D, except for a borderline significant protective association among carriers of TCF7L2 rs12255372 GG [ 145 ].
SOD also showed a favorable trend (SMD = 1.02; 95% CI: −0.84 to 2.88), although with wide variability and a lack of statistical significance.
MTHFR protein levels in mCC 1D mice were intermediate between those of mCC 2D and mCC 0.3D mice, and there was a significant trend in the increase in MTHFR protein across the diets in mCC mice ( Figure 2 A,C).
A substantial proportion of the Korean population exceeded the proposed urinary Na/K ratio thresholds of 2 and 4, with an increasing trend over time.
When applying Na/K ratio thresholds of <1, <2, and <4, a decreasing trend in the prevalence of each category was observed over time, with the exception of 2018 and 2019.
Those who exhibited weight loss at t 1 ( p = 0.052) and t 3 ( p = 0.073) showed a trend toward shorter overall survival compared to patients with stable weight or weight gain.
At six months postpartum, the control group showed an 80% decrease in EBF if the mother had secondary education (OR = 0.2; 95% CI 0.03, 1.3; p = 0.09) compared with those with primary education or no schooling, though only marginally significant.
