This is attributed to the low dissolution of AgNPs 23 and an increasing trend of radical signal intensity at higher pHs (as discussed later).
Excerpts
In the C n P-BTBT system, we found an increasing trend in binding energy (Fig. 4o , pink triangle) and a consistent increasing trend in growth rate (Fig. 4o , red circle, Supplementary Figs. 39 – 44 ) upon elongation of the alkyl linkers.
This effect is statistically highly significant and supports Hypothesis 2.
a clear trendgold
The result shows a clear trend: the total energy decreases when the CSE decreases.
Juglans , Fraxinus , Ulmus , and Quercus ) are dominant, and the percentages of Quercus exhibit regular oscillations; and (2) after ~5700 cal yr B.P., Pinus, Betula , and Artemisia exhibit an increasing trend, and Quercus , Carpinus and Ulmus a decreasing trend.
True looping (highly significant) interactions are expected to have higher contact counts compared to neighboring bins and, hence, higher APA scores indicate that corresponding loops are highly supported by Hi-C data.
health rankings were not statistically significant when considered jointly using an F test (degrees of freedom = 43 and 3) against the null hypothesis that all three coefficients are zero ( F = 1.903; p = 0.145), though individually some groups showed effects trending toward significance (see Supplementary Table 2 ).
Importantly, the non-fat-induced MYC signature was unable to predict lethal disease in the HPFS/PHS cohorts and was only marginally significant as prognostic marker in the validation cohorts.
Heterogeneity between datasets was tested with a Cochran test and for nominally significant Q-values, a Han-Eskin random effects model (RE-HE) meta-analysis was performed with METASOFT v.2.0.1 77 .
In addition, we construct a highly significant polygenic risk score for PTSD, which is predictive of re-experiencing symptoms (REX), a core feature of PTSD, in the independent Million Veteran Program cohort 9 .
Otolith deposition rate and the environment Otolith deposition rate (ODR, otoliths (100 cm 2 year) −1 ) did not show a significant trend over two millennia for individual families or Composite (Fig. 2 ), consistent with an absence of otolith alteration in the sediment.
In keeping with a recently described role for the spliceosome component DDX39B in IL7R splicing 11 , we observed a highly significant correlation between expression of the DDX39B paralogue gene, DDX39A , and sIL7R levels, with increasing expression of DDX39A associated with reduced sIL7R.
Collectively, our findings demonstrate that amid the considerable genetic and phenotypic heterogeneity of CHD, there exists a network of highly significant associations between genotypes, gene functions and phenotypes.
Among 25 tested lectins, 4 displayed highly significant inhibition; 2 of them, Maackia amaurensis-I (Mal-I) and wheat germ agglutinin (WGA), almost completely blocked meningococcus-induced signaling (Fig. 3a, b ) in a dose-dependent manner (Fig. 3c ).
In neuronal network 5, prediction of elbow movements just missed significance and in neuronal network 9, only prediction of shoulder movements in the irregular context was significant.
a weak trendgold
Our reanalysis of these published data indeed identifies only a weak trend (Supplementary Fig. 13a–c ), with CTCF-associated signal relatively more prominent than transcription-associated signal than it is in our CC-seq libraries (Supplementary Fig. 13d–e ).
a positive trendgold
Set 3 showed only a positive trend, likely due to a smaller number of patients who took part in the third task version and consequently the smaller number of face contacts included in this set ( p = 0.24).
Discussion Four out of six measures of complexity (range, polarization) and organization (smoothness, clustering) show an increasing trend in synapsids (Fig. 3 ), supporting previous qualitative and quantitative studies 30 – 33 .
Furthermore, taking the pool sizes of different carbon sources into account, the model was able to predict a decreasing trend in power output with increasing durations, that was consistent with the trend for world-record running speeds.
There was a nonsignificant trend for faster reactions of CB (296 ± 36 ms) compared with SC (315 ± 24 ms) in response to right index finger stimulation.
‘Species’ as a factor explained highly significant amounts of variance on one or more morphological and also on one or more genomic PC axes within each lacustrine radiation except for the genomic PCA of the large-tooth serranochromines, but sample sizes of the latter were small (Supplementary Fig. 4 , Supplementary Note 3 ).
a slight trendgold
The detrital ε Nd is relatively stable downcore, with a slight trend towards lower values since the LGM (Fig. 2c ).
We report the fraction of Bonferroni replicated pQTMs at 95% replication power and the fraction of nominally significant pQTMs with consistent directionality within all nominally significant pQTMs for all steps (Supplementary Data 3 ).
a clear trendgold
However, when assessing neuronal activation in the granule cell layer of the DG during memory retrieval we found that 4D-treated mice displayed a clear trend of decreased density of c-Fos+ cells relative to controls (4D vs.
MAIT cell production of cytokines in response to bacterial stimulation were rather stable during the first three time points evaluated, and showed a trend towards decline at the final time point corresponding to early chronic HIV-1 infection (Fig. 6b ).
