Abstract Focusing on the literature progress since 2002, the present review explores the highly significant role that multicomponent reactions (MCRs) have played as a very important tool for expedite synthesis of a vast number of organic molecules, but also, highlights the fact that many of such molecules are biologically active or at least have been submitted to any biological screen.

They have a long history in the human diet in many Asian countries and the consumption of these species has shown an increasing trend in other countries as well [ 128 , 129 ].

The approach based on the construction of multi-ferrocenyl compounds using spacers capable of transmitting exchange interactions was successfully implemented to obtain new practically significant materials.

Although this ILS represents a marginal effect as compared to a minimum optimal effect (<25%), a small trend can be inferred supporting a potential protective activity by 15 , that requires to be further confirmed.

At NaCl concentrations of 101.6 and 90.0 mM, increased concentrations of HCl led to shorter lag times; however, a definite trend of lag time decreasing with increasing HCl concentration was observed in the concentration ranges of NaCl lower than 78.4 mM.

This difference was apparent in the induction and observation of skin lesions as the epidermal layer of the ear is thinner, the dermis and the subcutaneous fat layer are thinner, and there is less fat than on the dorsal skin.

An increasing trend in the construction of new devices and measuring systems, as well as in chemical analysis, is the hyphenation of conventional devices with mobile consumer electronics (e.g., smartphones or web cameras), as well as their use for the transmission of measurement data of global teleinformatic networks [ 330 , 331 ].

In the activation region, there is a clear trend with higher performance for higher catalyst loadings, whereas at higher currents the highest performance is not reached with the highest catalyst loading.

Highly significant differences were observed between treatments.

Suddenly, after 5 ps, a strong trend in the unit cell lengths “a” and “b” changes emerged which lasted 1.5 ps.

As shown in Table S2 , there was also an observed trend.

Carbamazepine showed a trend similar to conventional secondary processes and the elimination was negative, which means that the concentration after the purification process was higher, as observed in other studies.

At the same time, there are studies that did not find any effect of I105V polymorphism on the CYC therapy, or the polymorphism showed a nonsignificant trend toward a lower probability of achieving global remission [ 4 , 7 ].

Moreover, data reported in Figure 3 for site C show, on average, a decreasing trend of the IRs with the increasing of the sample depth.

In case of Cd immobilization, a highly significant difference was observed between CK1 and CK2, and amendments also showed significant ( p < 0.05) differences in maximum treatments as compared to CK1 and CK2.

WB and AFS treated samples also showed a decreasing trend in bioavailable Zn content, but Zn concentrations increased in the treatments with lower doses of WB and AFS as compared to CK2 ( Figure 1 b).

Compared to the 2-mo-old animal group, the tracer accumulation in the brain regions of the cortex, hippocampus, and striatum demonstrated an increasing trend versus age for the other groups.

The ammonium nitrogen content of all the groups showed a trend of first increasing, subsequently decreasing, and finally maintaining a steady state ( Figure 3 b).

With the progression of the composting, the Bacilli in all of the treatments showed an increasing trend in composting, gradually becoming the predominant flora, while the content of Gammaproteobacteria and Bacteroidia gradually decreased.

Statistical significance was defined with p < 0.05 (*, significant) and p < 0.01 (**; highly significant).

Similarly, in the two investigations, the HRL profile was maintained stable, although a clear trend on concentration decline (19.2% decrease) over the 11 months was observed.

However, it may be significant that only EcArgR and VvArgR, which appear to lack α4, both have an Arg residue in α5.

Figure 4 shows a significant trend that side chain elongation relates to increasing lipophilicity of the compound and higher cytotoxic effect, facilitated by better penetration into the cell membrane.

While perhaps a little disappointing, this optical parity is actually quite significant, because it allows us to focus on the electronic effects these substituents impart on the dye (and device performance).

The φ 1 values, gathered in Table 1 , indicate small variations with the number of strands composing the structure or the ending groups, but quite significant increase when Na + ions are replaced by K + .
