It can be seen that the friction coefficient of the surface of the Al-20TiC-0.3G composites shows an overall trend of decreasing with the increase in pulse times, and the friction coefficient of the specimen before HCPEB treatment was 0.794.
As the coating amount increased, the standard deviation showed an increasing trend, which indicates that the coating can effectively cool the surface and interior of the asphalt.
Table 12 and Table 13 show that with the increase in coating service time, the structural depth and anti-slipping values showed an increasing trend and then a decreasing trend.
The results show that with the increase of UV-531 doping, the needle penetration and 5 °C ductility show an increasing trend, but the effect on the softening point is small.
Parameters belonging to the group of hybrid parameters ( Sdq – Figure 16 and Sdr – Figure 17 ) did not reveal a significant trend in their variability, allowing us to assess the influence of the type of abrasive grain size on their values.
A decreasing trend in capacity was observed with increasing Al content, which might be related to the fact that Al does not have a high affinity for hydrogen compared to Ti/V/Nb which are hydride-forming elements [ 30 ].
Moreover, the flow stress always showed an increasing trend with the increase in strain, and no obvious peak stress appears when the hot compression temperature is 1273 K as shown in Figure 2 a.
Furthermore, the normal stress could be divided into three stages: a steady value, then an increasing trend and finally a gradual decline, which possibly results from the complex transformation of the internal microstructures of MRG.
There are only minor differences in the extracted short-range order structures; for example, in an overall trend, the distances are larger for sample A compared to samples O and W, while the intensity of the features (S 0 2 ) is maximal for sample O, i.e., the preparation in 1-octanol.
As the size increases, the r value corresponding to the descending mutation point of the specimen indicates an overall increasing trend, whereas the descending mutation amplitude of the r value indicates a decreasing trend.
Meanwhile, the DIC results show that as the specimen size increases, the peak principal strains (corresponding to the principal strains in the red region) of the specimens are 1.51%, 3.89%, 5.68%, and 9.28%, showing an increasing trend.
Absorption and Porosity Test The absorption and porosity graph in Figure 6 shows an increasing trend of absorption and porosity in the mortars after 28 days, in accordance with the increase in the replacement of sand by plastic waste in each formulation.
The addition of wood chips improved the thermal insulation properties of the material and reduced the dry density, and the water absorption rate showed an increasing trend.
Although a clear trend of physical property differences can not be concluded based on a case study, the unburnt carbon and glassy phase play very important roles in the value of the individual physical property.
At 75% saturation level, the high deviation within the experiment data does not allow for observing a clear trend except for the sand PFS, where it can be concluded that strain rate causes an increase in breakage stress.
After the lignin content reaches 6%, the composite viscosity at 50 °C still shows a decreasing trend with the increase of frequency, which indicates that the flow of fiber asphalt mastic is seriously hindered at higher fiber content, and it is difficult to reach the state of Newtonian fluid ultimately.
It was noted that the physical, mechanical and chloride penetration resistances have generally displayed a decreasing trend, with an increase in the manmade plastic aggregate replacement fractions as compared with reference lightweight concrete.
However, the distribution curve of Mo exhibited a decreasing trend, showing a high and dense peak in α phase, indicating that the distribution of Mo was different between the two phases.
