The planes (sections I, II, and III) were intercepted at 0.375 m horizontally, and, by analysing the change in the velocity of the concrete after passing through the first and second layers of reinforcement, it could be seen that the flow velocity of the concrete between the first and second layers of reinforcement showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, and the flow velocity of the concrete between the first layer of reinforcement and the base plate also showed the same trend.
Although lower compared to some reports in the literature [ 43 , 68 , 74 , 75 , 76 , 77 ], which show compressive strength increases of 10% to 80%, depending on test age and NT content (1–4 wt.% NT), it can be said that the research results are in agreement with these reports, maintaining an increasing trend, and in contradiction with those indicated by Shekari and Razzaghi [ 60 ], who for a cementitious composite with 1.5% NTs report a reduction in compressive strength of 20.73% at the age of 28 days.
On this basis, with the whisker content increasing from 0% to 0.5%, the proportion of harmless holes in concrete showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, while the proportion of multi-damaged holes showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing, and the proportion of harmless holes was the highest when the whisker content was 0.4% (HF4).
The only exception is represented by the epoxy composite containing the highest boric acid content; The results of mechanical tests in compression mode do not indicate a clear trend of the influence of boric acid content on the mechanical characteristics of the tested epoxy composites.
