In consistency with our hypotheses, the results showed significant between-group differences, with the family intervention showing more benefits compared with psychoeducation on our primary outcome measures, including improvement in mental-health-related QoL at the two-month and eight-month follow-ups, and on reducing caregiver burden at the two-month follow-up, and borderline significance at the eight-month follow-up.
Excerpts
Despite some variation in the frequency of these modalities between single years, logistic regression did not show a significant trend over time for the frequency of CT, neurological examination, SSEP, or EEG (see Table 2 ).
Recently, a phase II RCT of Filgotinib (a Jak1-inhibitor) in pSS failed to reach its primary endpoint, consisting of a composite outcome measure; however, a sub-analysis of the trial showed a trend toward clinical efficacy in patients with severe disease [ 91 ].
This may have prevented us from analyzing the data in a different way, possibly leading to other factors that may be significant in SDM in this population.
In the multivariable model 1, TyG index showed a trend for a lower probability of ENI (categorical variable, vs. lowest tertile, medium tertile OR 1.00, 95%CI 0.63–1.58, highest tertile OR 0.59, 95%CI 0.38–0.92, overall p = 0.022; continuous variable [per unit increase], OR 0.73, 95% CI 0.56–0.94, p = 0.015).
Increasing Trend of Surgically Managed Proximal Humerus Fractures An increasing trend in shoulder arthroplasty and a subsequent decrease in other operative treatments were identified.
As TG levels increased, both controlled and uncontrolled diabetic subgroups showed a decreasing trend. Furthermore, Martin–Hopkins performed slightly better than Martin–Hopkins extended for any diabetic group with TG levels over 400 mg/dL. 3.5.
A higher SUVmax in tumor lesions at baseline showed a trend with improved OS.
In the present study, we found that in comparison with the healthy control group and topical treatment group, moderate-to-severe AD patients treated with dupilumab had the shortest COVID-19-associated disease course, although p -value (0.046) from the dupilumab treatment group compared with the topical treatment group was close to the limit of significance, which may be explained by the small sample size.
In this study, we could not draw the conclusion that dupilumab treatment remarkably improves COVID-19 symptom severity score because the p -value (0.059) was borderline significant, probably, also due to the small sample size.
However, in the present study, disease progression in FVC decreased with marginal significance after rituximab treatment, while disease progression in DLco did not change after rituximab treatment.
Introduction The prevalence of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) ranges from 40 to 50%, with a 3 to 12% symptomatic rate and an increasing trend [ 1 , 2 ].
aeruginosa sputum density was more commonly reduced with TIP than placebo, but an increasing trend of resistance to tobramycin compared to baseline was observed in the group of patients treated with TIP (although this trend was also found in the placebo group).
The authors showed a trend towards an earlier sputum culture conversion in the study group, although this was not statistically significant.
In that study, we followed patients up to 12 months after ureteroscopy and reported a decreasing trend in infection-free rates from 88% at 3 months to 71% at 12 months; additionally, we highlighted the relationship between stone recurrence and UTI recurrence in this group of patients.
a negative trendgold
Most participants showed either a negative trend or no trend in the baseline phase.
comparing different revascularization strategies for ISR in diabetics showed that local drug delivery by DEB or DES was markedly better than POBA in preventing TLR; however, treatment with DEB showed a trend of less development of MI than did treatment with DES [ 93 ].
During the study period, the number of patients requiring surgery and hospitalisation due to e-scooter related injury demonstrated an increasing trend. 3.2.
Interestingly, prehabilitation group showed a significant trend for lower INTERMACS classification at last month’s previous HT.
Considering that the deep NMB group showed a trend of less paresthesia and sensory change, significant results may be obtained if a larger number of participants were investigated, or a longer follow-up was conducted.
FMN showed an increasing trend over time, with the highest value in the MP group and lower and similar values in the MP-pH 7.6, 7.8, and 8.0 groups.
showed a trend towards a longer hospital LOS following NMP graft preservation, however, their results do not reach statistical significance (17 cf. 12 days, p = 0.119).
Three associations were supported by strong meta-analytic evidence, endorsing highly significant results with no suggestive bias.
The membrane-oxygenated group demonstrated a decreasing trend of oxygen consumption starting after 2 h of machine perfusion ( Figure 3 b).
The marginal significance of the treatment effect over time on echocardiographic parameters, regardless of the specific drug administered, may be secondary to the insufficient statistical power of our study. 5.
