Two-way ANOVA revealed that auxin concentration exerted a highly significant effect on hypocotyl length, cotyledon area, and root length, indicating that growth responses were strongly dose-dependent ( Figure 2 E).

FABP4—a marker of mature/functional adipocytes, with prognostic relevance in cancer [ 27 ]—showed a trend toward increased expression in adjacent explants, whereas vimentin displayed an increase in both adjacent and distant explants, compared to normal explants ( Figure 1 A).

In MCF7 cells, a decreasing trend in KLF4 expression was observed following treatment with adjacent -CM compared to normal -CM ( Figure 3 A), whereas SOX2 and Nanog levels remained unchanged with all treatments.

In T47D cells, adjacent -CM induced an increasing trend in Nanog expression compared to control - and normal -CM ( Figure 3 B).

Unfortunately, due to a relatively high standard deviation, we were unable to determine whether there is a significant trend in hexose levels after morphine administration (see Figure 9 ). 3.

CXCL2 (MIP2) was increased in HSA control relative to KRN and showed a trend downwards with Fc-μTP-L309C treatment, although this was not significant.

FPN1 showed a significant increase at 2 weeks in the spike group, while TFR1 showed a trend toward higher expression in the spike group at 6 weeks.

The GLM analysis demonstrated a positive trend between the number of allergens to which a patient is sensitized and the degree of clinical severity, suggesting that IgE-mediated sensitization to multiple allergens may reflect a more reactive or dysregulated immune profile.

We found that sNfL levels are significantly higher in NR (10.6 pg/mL) compared to R patients (8.4 pg/mL) with p = 0.007, while sGFAP levels exhibit only an increasing trend in NRs (134.6 pg/mL) compared to Rs (119 pg/mL), ( Figure 3 A,B).

Vimentin expression showed a trend toward higher levels in advanced tumors and exhibited a distribution pattern partially overlapping with CD34 + stromal cells ( Figure 2 ).

These observations are further supported by a systematic review and meta-analysis of five retrospective studies encompassing more than 156,000 individuals with T2DM, which found a nonsignificant trend toward reduced glaucoma incidence (HR 0.78, 95% CI 0.59–1.04).

However, a 2023 meta-analysis of antioxidant vitamins found that while vitamin E/C combinations effectively reduced endometriosis-related pain, vitamin D supplementation showed a trend toward pain reduction that did not reach statistical significance compared to placebo [ 27 ].

Regarding the FT-ICR HR-MS results, a clear trend emerges: pesticides with bulky aromatic structures, such as pyrazophos, triazophos, and propyzamide, tend to be adsorbed more efficiently than smaller halogenated compounds, which exhibit more variable adsorption responses [ 74 , 75 ].

LALBA, a major milk protein normally expressed only during late pregnancy and lactation, was detected in nearly all tumor samples and showed higher levels in aggressive subtypes, with overexpression displaying a slight trend toward poorer overall survival.

We found that patients with LALBA overexpression showed a trend toward shorter overall survival; however, this finding emerged from an unadjusted, exploratory analysis and is likely influenced by the underlying molecular subtype distribution rather than reflecting an independent prognostic effect of LALBA expression.

Additionally, while inguinal white adipose tissue (iWAT) weight showed a decreasing trend in the FSPE group, the difference was not statistically significant ( Figure 3 b).

Similarly, while FSPE supplementation showed a trend toward increased PGC-1α levels, this elevation did not reach statistical significance.

There was a slight trend of higher EBV VL in children presenting with inflammation, with one patient displaying particularly elevated EBV VL in the context of their HIV co-infection.

A highly significant difference between these two opposing world views was highlighted by Dickson and Robertson [ 231 ].

In Table 2 , for example, comparisons involving larger subgroups yielded highly significant p -values for age, mutation burden, and TMB; however, the absolute effect sizes were modest (e.g., median 3–4 years in age at diagnosis, a difference of 1 mutation, and 0.5 in TMB).

The Future and Challenges of Kerr Effect Applications Based on the optical systems presented in Section 3 , a clear trend can be observed in the evolution of setups designed to measure the Kerr effect in various materials.

The lack of statistically significant differences between the 30-, 60-, and 90-day groups may partly reflect limited statistical power; however, the strong and highly significant association between IL-8 levels and stent visibility suggests that degradation status, rather than time alone, may be a key biological factor influencing IL-8 expression.

For example, mice deficient in APP showed a trend to be more susceptible to infection by Salmonella enterica serotype Typhimurium [ 145 ], but it is unknown if more labile iron was available for infection or if the effect was due to the absence of amyloid β, which can have antibacterial effects independent of iron capture. 11.

The isolated ITC reduced prostate weight and hyperplasia and showed a trend toward decreased androgen receptor expression and testosterone-mediated cell cycle progression.
