Results that are only marginally significant should therefore be interpreted with caution.
Excerpts
The model presented in Table 3 illustrates that when all parental variables were simultaneously entered in the regression model, maternal mathematics anxiety turned out to be the only marginally significant determinant of children’s mathematics anxiety.
Although the experience of conducting CCBs is usually painful, there may be significant differences for employees with different levels of negative affect.
In addition, as we describe in more detail below, we suggest there may be significant promise in focusing on how artifacts influence expectancies and mindsets in clinical encounters.
Another conclusion was that one of the key components of the predictive model for forwards is the percentage of overall distance covered at speeds >24 km/h (7.99%), which is a variable with an increasing trend.
As shown in Table 1 , the results showed a trend for the mobility × conciliatory acts interaction.
As to Italians, there was only 1 syllable (/ba/) out of 9, where the ΔF2 values for AAF condition were significantly greater than the values of NAF condition, while another one (/bi/) was almost significant.
While a facilitation effect (neutral > female) for female faces was evident from both RTs and percentage of correct responses (in both identity and associative words), we found neither a facilitation nor an interference effect for male faces (RTs for identity words showed a trend toward facilitation, but this did not reach significance).
This assumption was supported by a series of highly significant Q tests (reported in Table 2 below), which reject homogeneity in correlations across studies included in a given meta-analysis.
The variable was positively correlated with the anticipated enjoyment for teaching about returning wolves ( r = 0.27, p = 0.01) and climate change ( r = 0.23, p NOADJ < 0.001, p ADJ = 0.05), even though this second correlation, again, was only near significance when adjusted for multiple tests.
These findings may lend support to the Adaptive Control Hypothesis that higher engagement in a dual-language context could confer cognitive control efficiency especially in the verbal domain, though the impact was not strong and only marginally significant.
Effects of Sentences Every version A of a sentence within the clinical context presented to the patients resulted in a highly significant reduction in maximal arm muscle strength at both time points, by 8.6–17.2% at T2 ( Figure 1 and Table 4 ).
Results showed that clinical psychology trainees reported improvements from before to after training on measures of counseling self-efficacy, client–therapist alliance, self-kindness, acceptance, defusion, mindfulness and values, and a marginally significant improvement on somatic symptoms, despite a trend toward increased work-related stress.
A marginal difference of presence and a highly significant difference of perceived synchrony were found, with higher scores in the sensorimotor as compared to the conventional group.
While a significantly higher embodiment score for the sensorimotor compared to the conventional group was expected (hypothesis 1), only a statistical trend in the predicted direction (together with a mild difference in presence) was found.
Second, given the importance of joint attention and serve-and-return responding to language development (e.g., Tomasello and Farrar, 1986 ), it may be significant that some types of media are themselves interactive.
It also disappeared in Mandarin, but in this language, we observed that the older group of children improved in the comprehension of object RCs slightly more than in the comprehension of subject RCs, although this interaction was only marginally significant.
Ability Factors Research has firmly established that cognitive ability explains a statistically and practically significant amount of the variability in people’s acquisition of complex skills ( Hambrick et al., 2019 ; also see Ackerman, 1987 , for a review of early studies).
The indirect effect of valence was marginally non-significant, and novelty had neither a direct nor an indirect impact on outcome expectancy.
Self-esteem showed statistical differences among age ranges, with a decreasing trend the older athletes get.
an overall trendgold
However, there was an overall trend for self-focus to move toward neutrality in both groups, as was confirmed by exploration of a significant two-way linear trend effect involving Induction condition and Writing prompt, F (1, 47) = 9.87, p = 0.003, η p 2 = 0.17.
These models showed that the within-person indirect effects were significant or marginally significant for PD, NA, and ND (see Table 4 ).
(2019) reported no difference or marginally significant difference in gesture rate, which are not consistent with the results in this study.
Finally, regarding the time when hypothesized autoregressive or cross-lagged effects may be significant or not significant makes the role of time and the choice of time lag between observations important for developmental applications.
Given the total test length, when the number of individuals increases from 500 to 2,000, the average MSE and SD for discrimination, difficulty guessing, and slipping parameters show a decreasing trend.
