Growth media type × acetic acid was weakly significant ( p = 0.05–0.1), specifically with 38 mM [HAc] + [Ac – ] significantly ( p < 0.05) reducing both root and shoot length in peat, compared to the 0 mM controls, whereas in the potting mix 47 mM was required to significantly stunt even the root growth ( Figures 5A,C ).
Nevertheless, neutral tests detected slightly significant negative values of Tajima's D and Fu's F S for southwestern populations ( D = −0.1273, P < 0.05; F S = −3.166, P < 0.1; Table 5 ) and western populations ( D = −1.281, P < 0.1; F S = −0.585, P < 0.1; Table 5 ) of C. hendersonii , and the newly derived haplotypes (clade 1) were mainly found in these populations ( Figures 1B, D ), indicating that the expansion model might be applicable.
The cluster ITC1 – ITC2 – ITC3 – ITC4 – ITC5 – ITC6 ( Table 3A ) showed a highly significant level of differentiation among populations ( FST = 0.146, p < 0.05), while diversity within populations ( FIS = 0.022) resulted not significant.
In particular, highly significant values, contributed by two of the three sources of variation (genotype, time, and concentration of metal), were observed in root treated with Cd ( P < 0.05).
Results Analysis of Variance Single site ANOVA (data not shown) revealed highly significant differences (p<0.05) among the genotypes for pod yield in each of the test environments ( Table 3 ).
Differences were considered significant, very significant and highly significant (indicated by *, ** , *** in the figures) if P < 0.05, P < 0.01, and P < 0.001, respectively.
As shown in Figure 7A , electrolyte leakage in blueberries showed an increasing trend with the extension of cold storage time ( P < 0.05).
A highly significant ( P ≤ 0.05) decrease in K + content in leaves (20.52% reduction) and a smaller reduction in the stems (8.10%) was observed at the end of the vegetative growth stage of S. salsa treated with NaCl ( Figure 5C ).
The remaining near-significant differences ( P > 0.05) in fatty acid concentrations were found during and after the WW event.
IBD and F ST class permutation test over full distance range All slopes of the regression with ln(distance) over the full range for all populations across Europe (2,518 km) and within each of the coastlines (563–1,497 km) were highly significant for either Euclidean distances or for sea current distances (Table 3 ), except for those of the Tyrrhenian Sea (not significant for Euclidean distances although marginally significant at p < 0.05 when considering sea current distances).
Growth suppression was also associated with down-regulation of auxin indole-3-acetic acid (IAA; Figure 4 ) and simultaneous elevation of IAA catabolites 2-oxindole-3-acetic acid (OxIAA; Table S5 ) and its glucosyl ester (not shown), which due to biological variation did not reach statistical significance ( p < 0.05).
During the Pearson correlation, highly significant and moderately significant were defined as P < 0.05 and 0.10, respectively. 3.
Additionally, when samples were categorized based on other important phenotypic parameters such as flower area, unripe fruits, and leaf area into different size-based clusters at specified times before fruit harvesting, a notable trend emerged: an increase in the size of these phenotypes was associated with a substantial increase in yield ( p <0.05) ( Figures 8B–D ). 3.5.
Pseudoephedrine showed a decreasing trend in both species of ephedrine, the decrease in temperature was significant only in E. saxatilis (P < 0.05) ( Figure 5B ).
There was a slightly significant positive relationship between the genome size and eastern longitude ( R 2 = 0.166, p < 0.05; Table 3 ), which was the only exception when the OLS model fitted the data better than the PIC model.
Soil available P was positively correlated with NaHCO 3 -Pi ( R 2 = 0.15, with a marginally significant level of 0.059; Figure 3B ) and soil NaOH-Pi ( R 2 = 0.19, p < 0.05; Figure 3D ) but was negatively correlated with soil residual-P ( R 2 = 0.25, p < 0.05; Figure 3I ).
