Of the pregnancies in which cART was initiated during this time period, a significant trend toward earlier start was apparent, with the median gestation at initiation shifting from 22 weeks gestation in 2009–2011 to 20 weeks in 2012–2014.
Excerpts
Histograms of flow cytometric analysis showed a trend of increased CD107a expression after incubating the cells with GA, CCL27, or CCL28 (Figure S2 C in Supplementary Material, left).
Interestingly, when the vaccine-induced, Melan-A-specific T cells were considered, highly significant correlations were found between OS and the expression of the retention integrin, VLA-1 (α 1 β 1 ) (Figure 2 B), and P-selectin (CD62P) binding (Figure 2 C).
The only subset being large enough for statistical analysis was the 15 patients with normal karyotype, and for this subset, anti-IL-6 had a significant antiproliferative effect (Figure 6 A, Wilcoxon’s test, p = 0.027) of borderline significance.
When extended to humans using large cohorts of ICU patients and HC, serum miR-133a also exhibited increased expression and displayed an increasing trend with disease severity.
The proliferation showed a trend to correlation with patch test score (Figure 1 B) although there was substantial variability in the proliferation observed in patients with high score, such that the correlation did not reach statistical significance with this number of patients.
Vaccinated subjects showed a trend toward better survival, which was not statistically significant at this sample size ( 25 ).
Other variables showed a trend with mortality, including shock at ICU admission, hemoglobin level ≤8 g/dL, and severity scores, such as the APACHE II score ≥20 and the SLEDAI–SELENA score ≥12, as summarized in Table 3 .
Considering that C1s cleaves intracellular antigens, it can be highly significant that the C1 complex both opsonizes apoptotic cells through C1q for effective clearance and degrades apoptotic cellular antigens through C1 proteases.
Both, BV and TV showed a decreasing trend between D21 and D28 in the WT but not in the RAG1 −/− .
TELiS found that both CBT-I and Tai Chi reduced activity of NF-κB relative to sleep education, though the difference was only marginally significant in the Tai Chi group.
a negative trendgold
A significant negative correlation was found between the IgM responses and age for MenC and MenW, whereas a negative trend was observed for MenY (Table 2 ).
The TT conjugate clearly induced a booster response in the participants, since 71.6% of the persons showed highly significant increases in IgG concentrations 7 days post-vaccination (Table 1 ).
Variants rs5029937, rs5029939, and F127C have previously been reported to associate with RA and SLE and showed a trend toward lower levels in this study ( 45 , 46 ).
We observed highly significant positive correlations between phosphorylated IkBα (Figure 2 A), MAP kinase (e.g., ERK, JNK) and TNFAIP3 levels.
( 18 ) has demonstrated that the risk of hospitalization and severe dengue in children aged between 2 and 5 years vaccinated with CYD-TDV was highly significant (RR = 7.45: 1.15–313.8, p -value not provided) ( 52 ).
En face aortic OR + areas in BF-treated mice showed a trend to lower lipid deposition as compared to vehicle-treated mice; however, differences were not significant (Figure S5 in Supplementary Material).
TRP supplementation to MSC–IFN-γ and B cell co-cultures showed a trend toward increased frequencies of CD38 high CD24 high Bregs (Figure 5 D).
p < 0.05 and p < 0.01 values were considered as statistically significant and highly significant, respectively.
In spite of the relatively low numbers of children who could be included in the final analyses, the differences were very striking and highly significant.
In addition, the Lactobacillus species including Lactobacillus mucosae and Lactobacillus reuteri showed a trend increase in the WIL8 group, whereas Lactobacillus ruminis showed a trend decrease, but these species did not reach statistical differences (Figure S3 in Supplementary Material).
When we examined the expression of the anti-apoptotic molecule Bcl2 at 5 days post-cell transfer (a time during which rapid LIP was occurring), the PD-1 −/− cells in female Rag −/− hosts showed a trend toward expressing less of this molecule (Figure 2 C).
Intranuclear staining from MLN cells showed an increasing trend of Foxp3 + abundance (11.60% Foxp3 + in CD4 + T cells in NOD-CB mice vs 8.99% in NOD controls) at 6 weeks (Figure 5 D).
No significant correlations were found for PD-L2 + TIL in CD19 + TIL as a continuous variable, even though a trend toward significance was observed for %CD4 (IHC scores).
MHC I showed a trend increase in expression on niDCs compared to iDCs, and there was no change in CD80 expression after treatment with neuraminidase. ntDCs (Figure 3 B, ii) displayed a significant increase in both MHC I and MHC II with no changes in CD80 and a trend increase in CD86 after neuraminidase treatment. niDC and ntDC populations were also assessed for expression of pro- and anti-inflammatory markers by qRT-PCR (Figure 3 C).
