Two of the reported studies compared patients with high adequate ICT to no ICT showing a highly significant survival advantage for patients with a higher adequate dose, but comparing any degree of ICT with no ICT, the OS benefit was less pronounced ( 88 , 147 , 148 ).
Excerpts
Although no significant inhibition of rRABV-tG binding was observed at any of the tested α-BTX concentrations (0–50 μg/mL), binding showed a decreasing trend with increasing concentrations of α-BTX ( Figure 2C ).
The Treg Cell Proportion in Peripheral Blood of 33 HCC Patients Before and After GSMs-TACE In this study, the Treg cell proportion in HCC patients before and at 1 to 2 weeks, 3 to 5 weeks after GSMs-TACE showed a decreasing trend, 11.74 ± 1.67% before GSMs-TACE to 8.54 ± 1.27% at 1 to 2 weeks and 7.59 ± 1.27% at 3 to 5 weeks after GSMs-TACE, which was statistically significantly lower after GSMs-TACE (P < 0.01) ( Table 3 , Figure 2B ).
There was no significant difference in ZIKV microneutralization titers between the vaccine groups at either week 30 (peak time-point) or week 52 (last time-point) ( Figure 6A ), but we observed a decreasing trend in these titers in both pre-vaccinated groups compared to flavivirus-naïve group at week 52.
In the helper-T-cell cluster TC-1 ( Figure 2C ), top upregulated genes included the regulatory cytokine TGFB1, which also showed a trend of upregulation in most other T-cell clusters ( Figure 2D ).
They suggested that this may be significant for evaluating ICI anti-tumor activity in relevant clinical trials via stratification of PD-L1 + and double-positive PD-L1 and LAG-3 ( 16 ).
Finally, CFB, sCD40L, ICAM-1, IL-8, and VCAM-1 showed a decreasing trend during treatment with no overall significant changes ( Supplementary Table 6 ).
The highly significant interaction highlights the biological relevance of the phenomenon.
markedly significantqualified
Except for several individuals in the single PD-L1 and triple blockade groups, both single and combination blockade strategies resulted in a markedly significant decrease in IL-2 + CD8 T cell responses.
a positive trendgold
The inhibition of DPP4 led to the suppression of breast cancer tumor growth ( 51 ) and displayed a positive trend in OS of colorectal cancer ( 52 ) and prostate cancer ( 53 ).
Repeated-measures ANOVA yielded highly significant results regarding calcium dependence for all venoms on plasma, which was however markedly less pronounced for fibrinogen.
Repeated CSF analyses showed a trend towards normalization of initial pathological CSF findings, while relapses were more likely to be associated with increased cell counts and total protein levels.
an overall trendgold
We observed an overall trend toward decreased HLA-DR expression on CD14 + monocytes meta-clusters in sepsis as compared to HC, which is one of the hallmarks for sepsis.
Seventeen highly significant markers were identified from this filtered data set using ANOVA; CALCOCO2, CD52, GBP1, GBP2, GBP5, HLA-B, IFIT3, IFITM3, IRF1, LOC400759 (GBP1P1), NCF1C, PF4V1, SAMD9L, S100A11, TAF10, TAPBP, and TRIM25 were further analyzed.
A phase II trial that combined MoDC vaccine with docetaxel showed a trend toward improvement in disease specific survival (DSS) ( 46 ), and results of the first phase III trial, NCT NCT02111577 that combines docetaxel and DC vaccine therapy are eagerly awaited.
However, levels of GM-CSF, IFNγ, TNFα, IL-17A, CCL2, and CXCL10 showed a trend of decrease in the K group compared to the W group.
TIM-3 expression showed a trend towards higher expression in both compartments in people with HIV ( Figure 3I ) but was significantly elevated only in peripheral blood MAIT cells ( P = 0.0171).
In lymphoid organs, dDCs are highly significant modulators of T-cell activation, mediating either tolerance or sensitization of T-cell response.
Although decreased F/B ratio is not correlated with highly advanced disease activity in 18-week MRL/lpr mice, a lower F/B ratio at 6 weeks could be an important and highly significant contributing factor in promoting early disease onset.
a clear trendgold
Second, the expression level of Beclin1, a key protein regulating autophagosome formation, was consistent with that of LC3 II/I, however, a clear trend was not observed ( Figures 4H, I ) .
The data showed that when M0 was polarized to M1 macrophages, the activities of glycolysis enzymes HK, PK, and LDH all showed an increasing trend, and the activity of PDH, the rate-limiting enzyme of the tricarboxylate (TCA) cycle, decreased markedly.
a clear trendgold
Similar to previously reported results from our lab, we did not observe a robust decrease in IGHM RNA, despite a clear trend towards a decrease ( Figure 2D ).
Conversely, IL-1β stimulated BBB endothelial cells led to a highly significant upregulation of Arg1 ( Figure 4A and Supplementary Table 3 ).
In the case of anti-Mi-2, it was different between geographic zones and showed a trend to diminish in higher latitude.
In these patients the change in itaconate levels showed highly significant negative correlation with changes in disease activity following the initial 3 months of conventional disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) therapy, with a decrease in overall disease activity (DAS44) or measures of inflammation (CRP and ESR) being associated with an increase in plasma itaconate ( 137 ).
