In the initial multivariate Cox regression model including all variables significant in univariate analysis, residential area size remained borderline significant ( p = 0.047; HR 1.61, 95% CI: 1.01–2.56; see Table 3 ).

Nodal involvement showed borderline significance in univariable analysis, with N1 staging having an HR of 1.81 (95% CI, 1.01–3.24; p = 0.047).

When looking at the Karnofsky performance status of the entire cohort, a weakly significant reduction was observed during the follow-up ( p = 0.047).

Strong demethylation exhibited a borderline significant correlation with wild-type KRAS ( p = 0.048).

Furthermore, when dividing the age at diagnosis in quartiles (≤43 yrs, 44–54 yrs, 55–63 yrs and ≥64 yrs), the Kaplan-Meier survival curves continued to show a slightly significant difference among the groups ( p = 0.049) ( Figure 2 ).

The duodenal V33 Gy showed a marginally significant difference ( p -value = 0.049) between ground truth and plan recalculation.

Other borderline significant parameters included the absence ATG in conditioning (HR: 1.52; 95% CI: 1–2.3; p = 0.049), patient CMV seropositive status (HR: 1.41; 95% CI: 1–2; p = 0.041), and HLA-mismatched unrelated donor transplant (HR: 1.68; 95% CI: 1–2.8; p = 0.044) ( Supplementary Tables S5 and S6, Supplementary Figure S9 ).

Overall, a modest correlation was found between tumor concentrations and plasma trough levels of pazopanib ( ρ = 0.41), which was borderline significant ( p = 0.049); see Figure 2 .

In contrast, a study conducted on breast cancer reported a marginally significant reduction ( p = 0.05) in FTO gene expression in the breast tissue of patients with the AA homozygous genotype [ 54 ].
