While a small number of cases prevented statistical significance, there was an observed trend toward significance, with the preserved bone length being 2.1 cm longer in the reconstructed group.

At the phylum level, the relative abundance of Proteobacteria was significantly lower in ARG than CON birds ( P < 0.05), while Firmicutes had a similar trend toward significance.

As more and higher-quality trial data emerges, this difference may also trend toward significance.

Because of rifaximin's small effect size and the large number of OTUs for which we had to correct for multiple hypothesis testing, tests for the effect of study arm interacting with time trend toward significance at the OTU level did not reach a 10% FDR threshold.

Our cohort of combined DBS‐LCIG therapy revealed improvement across most domains of PDQ‐39 with trend toward significance in activities of daily living, mobility, social, and body discomfort (Fig. 1 , Table 4 ). 17 , 18 LCIG can be entertained as a potential therapeutic option for the management of refractory fluctuations in PD patients following DBS.
