Based on a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials, compared with standard therapy, the addition of SF showed a trend of decreasing 28-day mortality ( p = 0.17) only for the septic shock patients, with 4.5 mmol/L ≤ mean arterial lactate level < 7 mmol/L and with a yang-qi deficiency (a TCM syndrome) [ 72 ].
We did not find significant tumor PAI at these loci, though CDKN2A and IKZF1 SNPs showed a trend towards preferential selection of the risk allele (p = 0.17 and p = 0.23, respectively).
In old patient and young patient populations, there was no significant association of different BRAF mutations with gender, although male patients showed a trend of higher incidence of p.V600K, class-2 or class-3 mutations ( P = 0.17) and a lower incidence of p.V600E mutation ( P = 0.07) in the old patient population.
While correlation with BM infiltration in paired plasma samples showed a trend toward positive correlation ( Figure 3B , Spearman 0.39 (95%CI −0.2 to 0.77), P=0.171), this comparison did not reach significance, most likely due to two outlier patients (Pt01V, Pt02V) with high tumor burden measured in cfDNA but low BM infiltration ( Figure 3C ).
The fast‐track program showed a trend of decreased risk of short‐term SWL (OR 0.40; P = 0.171), but this decrease was not statistically significant.
PCA in isolation also showed a trend toward a reduction in IL‐1β secretion (16.8 ± 15.0%, p = 0.171).
Nonetheless, although the data we obtained in our series showed a trend (p = 0.172) in this subgroup of patients, we still lack randomized studies to support this assumption.
OS2 showed a trend of benefit in group A without statistical significance (10.5 months versus 6.5 months, P =0.172), while median OS was 22 months in group A compared with 16 months in group B, P =0.048 (Figure 2 ).
Comparison of prognosis in patients without FLT3 ITD mutation stratified by NPM1 genotype status at diagnosis and relapse Patients with NPM1 mutation at diagnosis showed a trend towards a better outcome, such as longer OS (24.6 vs. 17.3 months; P =0.173) and duration of CR (10.0 vs. 7.5 months; P =0.558) than those without NPM1 mutation at diagnosis.
An operation time > 255 minutes showed a trend (12.2% vs 5.5%, OR 2.38; P = .173) but did not reach significance. 3.6.
However, Saudi nationality showed a trend (p=0.174), with an odds ratio of 2.113 (95% CI: 0.718-6.219).
Upon discharge, the RA-MIS group showed a trend toward better functional outcomes, with a mean mRS score of 3.29 ± 1.628 compared to 3.90 ± 1.210 in the craniotomy group ( P = 0.174, Figure 4F ).
Although both OS and RFS showed a trend favoring the laparoscopic group, these differences did not reach statistical significance (OS: P = 0.174; HR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.55–1.11; RFS: P = 0.166; HR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.56–1.11). 65.3% of patients in the LG group and 71.1% of patients in the OG group experienced recurrence ( P = 0.472) (Table 3 and Supplementary Table S5).
Although CUMS rats showed a trend toward an increased duration ratio of the peripheral to the central area than controls (P = 0.175), there were no significant differences between the four groups (F[3, 41] = 0.680, P = 0.569; Supplementary Figure S1C ).
